It's the Californication of Utah, Montana, Idaho.
Most of the Californians moving to MT and ID are making the states redder.

Turns out that if you put money into education
Erroneous on all counts. Increased spending by itself is no factor in improving education. Especially Federal money. Spending per student was like 125k per student last I checked. That is compare to decades ango when it was very little. 125k per student should perform miracles if it was the only factor to an improved education system. Why is this the case? Teachers Unions of course. Of course there are a lot of other factors, but when people scream “we need more money for education!” Those are just politicians and union leaders who want to line their own pockets, and increase their power and membership.

This is why people in the north have no idea about race relations and culture down here.

Also East Tennessee was a bastion of Union support.
A family we know solved the problem:
one side went Union, the other confederate.
They kept the family safe away from both houses and the winning side just happened to home the safe and its contents after the war ended.
The last name persists in both the black and white populations. The black has appeared in several court cases that were infamous recently locally.

Mississippi Spends $11,000 per student on education

They are doing much better now thanks to investment in literacy programs and training for teachers. Nothing related to DEI, wokeness, or any other BS.

Where's the crime stat overlay?

Some of those dark counties are rural and not very populated. % of a county tells a story but not always where most blacks are living.

This is exactly why I continue to believe there will be a mass exodus of whites from the southeast at some point in the future. These folks will move into the Dakotas and eventually western Canada

You think they'd have fled the South after the Emancipation Proclamation
Where would they have gone, with no food, no money and no way to support themselves en mass? It’s as dumb as thinking you can simply give someone 40 acres and a mule and life is grand. You’ll starve before you ever get your crops in the ground if you don’t have a pot to piss in or 2 cents to rub together to buy seed.

Southerners have a long history of treating black people terribly, including severe political repression and terrorism during Reconstruction.
Yet here they remain. Instead of flocking to our benevolent counterparts to the north and the west.

Lmao. Why haven't they moved already?
People will go where the jobs are. The migration pattern of Black Americans after the CW indicates that.

Yeah, thankfully they can choose where to live thanks to the interventions of the Federal Gov rather than be continually classed as second-class citizens. Do you even listen to yourself or understand what I'm responding to?

From my experience it depends on why they moved
If they voluntarily moved to a red state and it wasn't due to a job transfer, yes
But if their company relocated to Texas or transferred the to their Texas branch, no
