I have my doubts Democrats in California would actually do it because it would piss off the Hispanics and Democrats can't win without Hispanics who account for 39% of the population in California. I think it is just empty virtue signaling to the base like Brandon's committee to study Supreme Court packing.

The caveat is that if the funds are accepted, all minority set-asides are rendered null and void.
The playing field is forever leveled.
Fun Fact:
Within Three years after the funds are disbursed, 90%+ of the money will be somewhere else. I’ll have an interest in “somewhere else” and will appreciate the revenue.

It is going to be interesting to see how they determine who is black, who has ancestors who were slaves.
The reality is, every single one of them has ancestors that were slaves but many of them are still slaves over in Africa and northern Africa were all of the started thousands of years ago….and still continues today.
