For the most part, traffic circles are pretty straightforward. However, I do get a bit nervous when I go into one that I am unfamiliar with that has multiple lanes. I'm never really sure which lane I am supposed to be in. If I am basically taking a right, I know I should be in the right lane, but if I am exiting the second or 3rd exit, I get worried that I am doing something incorrectly.

Most people don't realize that you can make a left on red if you're on a one way street turning onto another one way street.

No one seems to know you are supposed to stop for school buses even when you are in the oncoming lane.

Residential area speed limits and school zone speed limits

You don't have to if it's a split median.

Is there really any traffic rule that people don’t ignore? Other than red lights

I don't think so bub.
A person turning right on a green light would not yield to someone else turning left on the same green light, which is the only scenario here. That's not how it works. If you're turning left, you're yielding to everyone.
Unless you are talking about an entrance ramp to an interstate, where you have turned left onto the entrance ramp on a green light, and the entrance ramp for the person that's turning right has a yield sign, then yes, they would yield to you, but that's not really an lighted intersection scenario, that's an on ramp yielding scenario.

Changing lanes over a solid white line
Not illegal, just frowned upon.
Double solid white lines is what you can't cross, but a single solid white line is ok to cross, but you should refrain from it if at all possible.

what if it's a 4 lane highway without a median, or one with a median?

It should drive you up the walls that we have to do it that way. It’s dumb. Imagine if we did red lights that way. Why is this any different than a red light except the light is hanging above. It hurts free flow of traffic On busy roads. It is proper, though.

Laws governing the flow of traffic create weak, indecisive drivers. Traffic should be survival of the fittest.

The person turning right doesn't have a green light in his example. The yield lane is separate.
Here is an example in BR. The right turn lane does not have a green, though many people treat it that way.

Riding in the left lane

people that want to get in the left turn lane a mile before where they're turning

Not really a law but the people who make a right turn into an act of Congress make me so angry
I’ve seen people parallel park quicker than making a simple right turn into the grocery story by my house

The central traffic light controller in my little BFE town broke and it cost too much to fix, so they set the lights on main street to flash red all the time. Basically a four way stop. It's been this way over a year and people still haven't figured out how it works. Drivers on Main Street think they have the right of way over drivers coming from a side street and blow straight through the intersection.

That is a good example. As you said, they don't have the green light, it's basically a yield lane.
