I would say that the closest would be real estate agents getting 3-6% of a house sale these days, it is absolutely insane the money they make instead of a flat fee and not being percentage based. But again, people pay it so they have a demand for their work.

The entire world is on margin.

You kind of ignore the elephant in the room.

Taxes are a percentage.
Hell... even the government margins itself.
In Georgia, property taxes are a percent of the value of the property and goes to the school district. The tax assessor's office withholds 2% of that tax to supplement their department. It is a "handling fee" for collection.

Big OIL making record profits? Well the costs went up, and they are maintaining their margin on costs/expenses.

Health insurance making record profits? Costs are going up. Call it a "handling fee" when they keep their margin on costs/expenses.

I don't like lies, liars, and mendacity. Anyone selling half truths and falsehoods to "make a deal" shouldn't be in that line of work very long. The internet has a long memory and should be punitive against those "professionals".

Third page and I don't think I saw anyone saw Weathermen, or Meteorologists.

Who else can be so wrong so often and still have a job?

It's amazing how right they are. Pinpointing severe weather a week in advance. No one complaining about the forecast and this great weather this weekend.

The ODC sends out a monthly email with all of the discipline they have meted out that month. The suspensions given out for what are facially minor transgressions are sometimes jarring. Non-attorneys simply rarely hear about it, so the perception is that nothing is done. Doesn't make it reality.

I’ll never look at the medical field in the same way after the shite they pulled during and after COVID. What they’re still pulling in some instances.

I work in healthcare, and this really can't be understated.

There's really a duality when it comes to healthcare-
people who work in clinical fields (provide care to others) generally are good, often very noble folks.

People who work in the administrative fields (who only view it as a service to make money) are worse than pond scum. And I hate what they've done to the field's reputation.

The one profession I can think of I have a low opinion of is chiropractors.

I get it. There are a lot of quacks in that profession. But there are also great ones that help immensely and I've been blessed to have one for the last 20 years. If you find one of the good ones, you stay w/them.

Lawyers is a hard one. Professional liars.

But when my butt was puckered up thinking it’s going to be my job over the vaccine some lawyers stood up.

The problem I have is that I’m relying on these people to be the ones to actually argue my rights.

Plus it’s bs that their time on a phone call is worth so much. It’s like, hey I’m trying to run a business. There is a lot of bullshite in this contract or lease, and if some other shithead lawyer hadn’t written this up I probably wouldn’t need you too look at this.
