is kinda funny. At this point, I don't even think you can think of a Vette as "cool" anymore. It might as well be a Lincoln Town Car from back in the early 80s.
Wat? Because some old dudes drive it? The newer vettes are nasty, bad arse cars.

I’d rather an old man boat

I'd prefer a fully refurbished and retromoded classic car, like say...
1967 Chevy Impala
or say a 1967 Chevy Camaro
or maybe a 1967 GT 500 Ford Mustang
I have a type.

A Mustang driver that thinks he can drive a fast car.
Ain’t that the truth…we went to Houston Underground one night- it was an attempt by some shops to keep people from running 200mph roll races on the Beltway- so they had dyno pulls and car photo shoots.
We went and made a 650 hp pull, got laughed at and we left. Some cat left right behind us in a Mustang and promptly wrapped it around a power pole.

Yes, very nice. Love the 1967 vehicles, add a '67 Vette 427 with side pipes and I'd become engorged.

Shelby Cobra kit car, be careful when you get out though.

Maybe like a 1971 Chevelle SS
Old guy down the street from me has a baby blue 1971 GTO.
He bought it new and it looks like it just came off the showroom floor.

Love it, but a retrofitted 78 or 79 F-150 for me.

Ever since 1980, I wanted a Toyota Land Cruiser. Sure, I've got the Lexus version now...but what I've always wanted is an FJ40 as close to stock as I can find.
I've had fast cars, cool cars...but I want something that can take me through the apocalypse.

Every time I see a new Corvette it’s always some old grey haired guy driving it. It got me thinking….when the kids are away and I can blow some money, what’s my old man fun car going to be? Also, just assume there will already be a truck in the garage.
Just go get the new vette.
