Imo....if your child can't find their name on a souvenir in a gift shop....you should rethink their name.

It's typical for millenials to name their kids something ridiculous. They seem to love using last names as first names. Thanks to black people, the formerly neglected letters of the alphabet like X and Q have some use.

Special Snowflake Disorder. Nobody’s children can be ordinary, they have to be unique down to their name. It’s pathetic honestly. Teach your kids that they are unique just because they are, not because of what they do. It’s one of the many signs of societal decay.

I hate when people do the normal mame but have a “cute” way of spelling it. They don’t think about the fact that no one will ever spell their kids name right, and the kid will have to correct everyone on it their entire life. Ex. Baileeigh.

The same thing with the normal spelling with a weird pronunciation. It is funny when the parents get mad and try to correct people over someone pronouncing the name the way it sounds though.

You're on the money with this! I know a girl who wanted to name her son Rydder. Apparently, she and the husband argued at length over the pronunciation. She liked "Rider" as a name. Fine, name the kid Ryder. But Rydder, if it were a word, would be pronounced "ridder" in English. Rudder, mudder, etc. vs Rider, spider, hider, etc.

So after much discussion and consideration, they named the kid Rydder.

In Houma, the hospital has a billboard that shows the babies that were recently born. The names are hilarious. When we visit, we probably hold up traffic just to see what stupid name the down the bayou trash came up with.
