There's only been umpteen studies. The government, etc. just needs to take their pick.

I don't think most of us use it that much. We live in BR and I've probably driven across that bridge 5 times in the past 10 years.

The legislature is holding BR hostage, they can't decide on which brother in law gets the job.

Build it yourself. Those of us who live and work in the city don’t care all that much about it. It’s essentially a mild inconvenience for me if I’m coming back from visiting family west of the Mississippi.

They already built a bridge to connect the metropolises of new roads and st. Francisville. Literally dozens of cars use it daily. It’s done wonders from cross river traffic.

Isn’t it amazing? I feel like I get to skip half the interstate on my drive home.

I'll need to conduct a study to determine the meaning of your post.

We have a new bridge. Ask Ben McDonald.

Maybe a friend can help. It ain't partial differential equations but it is probably good enough to figure out how many girders and bolts you need from an Erector set to do the job.

I'd choose an old fashioned ferry, aka logs strapped together with rope and pulled by a mule on the opposite bank, over the Lake St. Charles bridge or the I-10 bridge at Baton Rouge.

If I'm gonna die on the river it shouldn't be because a bridge caved in after waiting for three hours to cross it.

a study should first be conducted to decipher the historical impact of bridges on the black, indigenous, transexual community. Only then can proper punitive taxes be levied upon the white colonizers to pay social dues for further studies over the next 25 years, finally concluding that new bridges have disparate impact upon minority gays in the BIPOC social sphere and thus no additional bridges will be built.

For my conclusions, I demand $25 million from the taxpayers of Louisiana. And that is a 90% discount on what you will actually pay for the same result.

Just get Elon to bore a tunnel under the river.

You won't need to buy near as much surface rights.

The only people I feel sorry for are people who have to go through Baton Rouge. If you choose to live in that shite hole that's on you.
