I’ve known of these guys for a while, but stumbled on their top ten moments last night and it’s just amazing the absolute slammers these guys put down in the middle of Atlanta and other cities. Maybe somebody here knows them.

They seem like good guys to me, but Lee particularly seems to get a bunch of hate it seems, bunch of ppl accuse them of paying a shite ton for access or that they trespass.

It’s not my cup of tea to knock on a thousand doors, hear cars driving by and drug addicts walking through these spots in the city, but it works for them. These bucks are gigantic.

They obviously have a huge network that gives them tips, otherwise idk how you’d find these bucks.

I do think they are contributing to the whole “gigantic buck or bust” trend that’s going on right now. A lot of ppl feel ashamed of their 140” 8 point because of shows like this when that absolutely should not be the case. That twat Josh Bowmar is another example.

“Oh my god it’s a freaking dinosaur! This is the biggest deer I’ve ever seen what an absolute giant!”

Anyways, just curious everyone’s thoughts. I like hunting in the West for the remote locations it takes me where I don’t see another human all day. City hunting doesn’t do it for me personally

Their videos don't really interest me.

Mostly because, like you said, they are paying for access and people are telling them about these deer.

That style of hunting just doesn't appeal to me.

For someone in LA, it is crazy seeing the size of deer they kill in urban settings though. We just don't really see that here.

I live in the Atlanta area. My best friend won his bow give away. He was an amazing police officer and died of a sudden heart attack. He watched Lee for years.

Lee and his crew have done a lot to help educate Suburban hunters. I personally believe that they have networks helping to find the old monsters in suburbia. There is without a doubt that they have a system, and I would be shocked if they haven't paid certain landowners.

I have moved several times and been fortunate to hunt several great deer in suburban Atalanta on my properties. In my opinion the best way to hunt any county near Atlanta is to get next to properties adjoining that counties water authority. Deer roam free there with very little pressure.

Common misconception is that they are easier to kill than country deer. They are still monsters for reasons, they are smart, and can be extremely challenging to pattern.

Every buck I have shot that is over 3 1/2 dressed over 190 lbs. They are bigger deer, and the Kudzu promotes this more than anything else. They love it and it's primarily what is giving the mass to these 3 1/2- 41/2-year-olds that honestly would be literal monsters in Louisiana, especially in the marshes where I grew up.

Some studs roaming around Ruston. Baw killed a 180+ a few years ago and let’s just say there was a very wide range of emotions

it ain’t about the game animal, it’s about the animal game. Hunting in a city is just animal control

I enjoy the videos and look forward to the new episodes. Suburban hunting is something that I don’t have any interest in doing, but fascinates me.

The whole crew seems like genuinely good guys and the videos are well produced. And no doubt Lee hustles his arse off for the content.

Their bass fishing videos on private lakes are as impressive as their hunting videos

Most of the hate I promise you is coming from the jealous types, imagine paying 5 figures for a hunting lease 3 hours from your house all while a guy shoots a lifetime buck off the local interstate after work one day at 5pm lol

I don't know anything about them, do they only hunt Atlanta?

Hunting midwest cities is not that hard though you just gotta knock on doors, especially with OnX helping finding land boundaries and owners. My grandfather lived in Peoria on about 3 acres in the city and he would have a 140-160 about every other year he'd get on his trail camera. He had about .75 acre lot with around 2 acres of woods adjoining his house along a creek that ran the city. The deer would live along that creek that ran for a couple of miles. He had a trail camera on his yard on his bird feeders to see the deer come up. Some years he'd have multiple bucks. They rarely visited routinely, so we think they just walked up and down the creek bed. My uncle would set a trail cam in the woods if there was a good buck that year but he was always worried he'd shoot one and run and die 75 yards into the neighbors pool or patio or something.

Atlanta is a little different as generally the deer don't get as big and its a bigger city with a lot more libs.

Deer make a lot of guys do stupid shite though. Wouldn't be the first time guys snuck onto utility company or other private land they shouldn't be and shot a deer. A lot of those city parks hold good deer, or any sort of park like that. Its just about a little refuge where the deer can get a little age on them. Maybe even had permission to hunt the land next door or something.

They hunt the deer where it lives. No problemo by me. I think the hate is more or less jealousy of guys who spend $5000+ on a lease, then another $20000 on atv and gear and dont have that kinda access to deer.

Who cares if they are shooting monsters and Deer camp Billy shoots 130” thinking its not good enough. Billy has bigger problems if he worries about this. Its been said a lot: shoot what you want if legal. We can also simultaneously marvel at different areas of the country and types of deer it produces.

Billy doesnt understand hunting pressure, food and habitat. Dont hunt deer at all in Billys entire county for 10 yrs and there will be 200” monsters.

They do lots of doe shoots.

I enjoy their vids. They hunt in a way I’m never going to, so it is very interesting. Much like the online hate some other celebrity hunters get like Lee and Tiffany, much of it is simple jealousy. These guys put in the sweat equity and I like watching their results.

I’ve got access to a 25 acre spot in the suburbs. Not as developed as what these boys are hunting, but there’s a lot of commuter traffic. When you hear a car horn, it’s time to pick up your bow. Great for an after work spot, but hard to keep bow shot deer on a small place. You’ve got to be ready to ask permission to track.

Gotcha. Good. I’ve never heard of these guys. If they preach management waiting for a monster isn’t the way.

Not why I hunt. I certainly have no desire to hear cars, trucks and kids screaming while I’m hunting.

That said, while I don’t watch their programs, if it makes them happy, I’m all for it.

I've killed a few deer off a tiny tract (6 acres) within Austin city limits in high school with my bow. Nothing crazy but a couple nice ones like this 146". My parent's neighborhood had some absolute monsters (170"+) but I never got an opportunity on our property. Deer can get real big when people aren't shooting every 2.5 year old 8 pointer.

I got an Urban Archery license in Leavenworth, KS years back.

My buddy shot a doe the same day I shot a nice deer. Mine dropped about 100 yards from my shot behind a warehouse near a pile of rubble. His ran into a neighborhood and died in a driveway about 100 ft from a school bus stop with kids waiting for the bus. It was awkward for him to say the least.

I didn't apply the next season. Just stuck to our lease.
