Well, not to mention that you can watch the video and see that the tires are pointed straight at the officers in the front of the vehicle and make several rotations in that direction. She only turned her tires away after he had drawn his weapon and, presumably, after the first shot was fired.

People are forgetting the officer who was being attacked could have been injured considerably depending upon how her musculature could have reacted after he started shooting.
There is something odd when a mother wants to attack a federal law enforcement agent for doing his job.

Also that the roads were icy. How was he supposed to know the vehicle wouldn't keep coming at him even IF the tires were turned.

I still think she was focused solely on the officer her left who was screaming at her and trying to open the door.
She was not trying to kill the guy in front - probably didnt know he was there.
Not blaming the officer at all this was clearly a FAFO situation.
Mother of 3 became so radicalized that she died for such a dumb reason as defending disgusting Somali fraudsters.

Only one person knows her true intentions in the moment. Unfortunately she put her self in a position where we will never know.

people likeKrassenstien are useless. we already know what side they will take and what the narratives will be before they ever open their mouths.
So what good are they?

The agent was legally attempting to detain the suspect as she was breaking the law and not complying with officers' commands. The agent was acting within the law and, if needed, could forcefully detain her.
If you are a U.S. citizen, ICE has NO LAWFUL BASIS to detain you under immigration law just because it suspects a violation of those laws.

Calling something "illegal" means nothing when it comes from the Left.
Absolutely nothing.
Absolutely nothing.

She was obstructing a federal law enforcement officer performing his job enforcing United States immigration laws passed. Period.

They can’t detain for basic law breaking such as impeding an investigation/operation?

No they can't. ICE doesn’t have general police authority. Their powers come from federal immigration law. For a U.S. citizen, they can’t just detain you for “basic law breaking” unless they have a proper federal warrant or are enforcing a crime they’re actually authorized to enforce. Otherwise, they have no lawful basis to hold you.

You arent real smart on the law.

An officer can’t bootstrap authority. If ICE has no lawful jurisdiction over a U.S. citizen in that moment, then there is no “lawful duty” being obstructed. Obstruction doesn’t give them new powers, it depends on the powers they already have.

ICE agents are federal agents and, as such, can arrest anyone for violating any federal law with probable cause. She wasn't being detained on suspicion of immigration issues, she was being detained for interfering with a federal operation.

I don't think she was being detained over immigration law. She was being detained for disobeying the officer's commands. Judging from the video the officer apparently thought she was endangering the public with her vehicle

You're wrong

Then correct me.
Which statute gives ICE general detention authority over U.S. citizens?
Insults don’t change the law.
