in other news, russia shoots down 2 of its own helicopters and a su-34, cause they are retards

I like how you are ready with this talking point to wage info war on social media.

I mean, an explosion in Ukraine could be anything from an accident to incompetence to a strategic strike by the Ruskies.

None of which have anything to do with the downing of Russian aircraft

Member when we lost a couple of Apaches in Western KY a few weeks ago?
That wasn't even a war zone. Did that make the US Army retards?

I'll hang-up and listen.

Strange question, it would make it worse; however, that has nothing to do with the question.

Not really.

You can have pilot or mechanic incompetence or Intel/air defense incompetence.

Parsing which is worse seems like a fool's errand.

Then why are you parsing? You asked the question. My comment was directed at the poster who asked if the Apaches that crashed made the US Army retards. It has been widely reported that Russia shot down its own helicopters. That makes them retards in my opinion. If a US anti air team shot down the apaches then I would not hesitate to call that team retards. Would you? Regardless, there are 4 families missing their loved ones and that is a true tragedy. Those aircrews gave their lives so we could remain free to shitpost each other on TD.

I'm the poster that put that question on the table, smart guy.

You are entirely missing the point. The thread is about an explosion in Ukraine. Yet, someone felt it relevant to talk about an entirely unrelated Russian mishap.

Why?

And as I noted, mishaps happen...even in the US in friendly skies. So again, why? Why was it so important to make sure those who visit here know that something went badly for the Russian military?

And stop with that sanctimonious BS about those American families. Of course it's a tragedy. Of course we all appreciate their sacrifice.

But you know what? Those Russian pilots had families too. And neither those dead schleps nor their mothers made a policy decision to invade Ukraine.

You know things are going bad for Ukraine when all the OT troons show up together and derail the thread.

The Russians perceived extreme weakness in Western leadership when the illegitimate regime was installed in a 2020 rigged election and they made a move…it is what it is in the high stakes game of geopolitics.

They should just drop pallets of cash into a furnace and save on the transportation costs.

Did anyone shoot down the Apaches? You are just here to pander to the Nazi's. Did you post have anything to do with the topic of this thread? No it did not.
