There is no way this election is going to proceed just like some regular presidential election. We’re still 4 months from Election Day and we are all witnessing what they’re doing before to derail the nation. There is a movement by the left and the media to gain back power in the White House at all cost necessary. I’ve never been a doomsdayer but look for extreme civil unrest after the election.

LOL a man who can't complete a coherent sentence and is promoting riots is "hopeful".

My god we are fricked.

I am aware the NYT is claiming there is a rift. I can assure you, both parties are 100% aligned strategically.

As far as Biden, this election has nothing to do with Biden.

And this is the Dems fatal flaw. People still vote FOR candidates overwhelmingly. And as for Biden being “ hopeful “ - you have it backwards. He represents American Declinism ( see riots and Covid) whereas Trump represents a vision of American Aspiration. You may hate him ( I get it ) but the Democrats brand is not one of hope. It’s one of RAGE and RACIAL STRIFE and autonomous zones and vandalism and looting and arson and Twitter melts and celebrity melts. It’s overwhelmingly HOPELESS.

Biden has close to zero enthusiasm. He's not likable at all. Go to his YouTube channel. His videos posted 3 hours ago have less than 7k views. That's BAD. Trump puts a Tweet up and it has exponentially more interactions in 3 minutes.

Not really. People vote 1. Party 2. AGAINST people they don't like.

There’s a long way to go to the election, anyone making a prediction now is just speculating on what they hope will happen

Trump is an incumbent, that means a lot. The economy has been good until COVID. Should make Trump tough to beat.

On the other hand, Trump beat Hillary by the slimmest of margins and Biden is more likable than Hillary. Biden is of course up in the polls right now as well, but while the national polls were pretty good last time the state polls were not. Regardless, long way to go either way.

Looks like it will come down to Pennsylvania and Michigan again. Should be entertaining, if you can block out that our choices are two amoral geriatrics.

Based on the behavior of the Michigan governor during Corona, it's going to come down to Pennsylvania.

A lot of liberals are seeing the chaos and seeing left leaders not speaking against it. Some even loosely encouraging it. It doesn’t sit well. Throw in Biden being a dork wang and the left’s obvious covid bias, it’s not a good look.

Wait, you don't think black folks are going to vote this year? You don't think they have any reason to be motivated to vote? You don't think Obama out there telling blacks to vote for Biden means something? ok.

Really depends. The key is hanging Black Lives Matter the organization on Biden, then exposing their agenda. Most Americans support the idea that Black Lives Matter, most will not support the entire agenda the organization with that name puts forward. Make Joe defend it, all of it, from reparations, to quotas for blacks in everything, to wealth redistribution. It is a truly Anti white organization. Either make Joe come out as anti white or make him come out against the agenda of one of his key constituencies in whole or in part. Win either way.

I wonder.

I will vote, gladly, for Trump and every conservative I can find. It could be an avowed NAZI and I'd vote for that person before I'd vote Democrat. I suspect many will do the same.

As someone pointed out yesterday, everything is arrayed against Trump - including people in his own party. Don't think they won't pull out all the stops to defeat him.

Trump needs a few "Ws"

I, for one, appreciate your view points, with the exception of the last one. Biden is uninspiring, confusing, and has absolutely zero platform which in my opinion, is what killed Clinton. I watched all of the Democratic debates and still have zero clue how Biden got selected. He had one moment, in one debate, where he seemed Presidential, then the drugs wore off. His platform now is "Hey I'm not that guy, vote for change". Sound familiar? Second verse same as the first.

Voter turn out in 2016 was historically low if I recall, which I think is going to flip this year. You can be sure there's more people in the hills than in cities and I think they're pissed. Couple that with Biden whom has an inability to illustrate an idea and you have a Trump victory. It'll lean Bidens way early and then tilt hard to Trump late, book it.

Sure, many will. But you are missing the larger point and the historical data that confirms it. TURN OUT (which decides elections in swing states) depends on voter enthusiasm. Not Twitter melts or street theatre violence. You still have to give those who are NOT ideologically-possessed a reason to go to the polls on that specific day in November. And what you aren't understanding is that there will be a huge number of affirmative NEW white working class voters for Trump in 2020.These are people who haven't previously voted. As opposed to a furious Democratic base that is already known and accounted for.

No, that was the 2010 midterms. Pubs lost 41 seats in '18.

Dems lost 63 seats in '10, so not even in the same area code.
