That's a weird response post to me being respectful to someone who made a huge mistake.

What mistake are you referring too? I must have missed it.

I made a comment about Bovino

His response incorrectly attributed the comment to the CBP agents involved in the killing.

Nick just needs to settle down and get his facts straight before making hysterical posts on X.

My guess is re-assigned.

If this is true, it’s definitely a complete cluster and does not bode well for the GOP

It's definitely fake news. If anything he was reassigned to another state. That's what I saw earlier.

Well, that Twitter guy with the checkmark said he “exclusively learned” that information.

He is being reassigned out of Minnesota. If you like to use a military analogy, the Commander in Chief doesn't reassign his commander in the field if he's doing a good job and winning the campaign.

And if you have been paying attention at all, you know that Homan is at polar opposite from Bovino...and Noem...philosophically when it comes to how to wage this battle. Trump is sending a clear message...and many on this board won't like it.

""On one side are Border Czar Tom Homan and ICE Director Todd Lyons, who have advocated focusing on criminal aliens and those with final deportation orders. On the other side are DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, senior adviser Corey Lewandowski and Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino, who have pushed for a broader and more aggressive approach, targeting anyone in the U.S. illegally to boost deportation numbers.

Two senior officials described the mood inside DHS as “tense” and “combative,” with some ICE leaders warning the new approach could erode public support and blur the line between ICE and Border Patrol operations."

"While policy disagreements among senior officials are a fact of life, nothing in any of those articles is reassuring. Homan’s strategy of “focusing on criminal aliens and those with final deportation orders” sure sounds a lot more popular than what we’re seeing now. The American people overwhelmingly support the deportation of gang members, sex traffickers, drug dealers, and other violent criminals. They are significantly less enthusiastic about deporting Manuel the busboy from the restaurant down the street."

LINK

""Meanwhile, Fox News reported in October that Noem, Lewandowski, and Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino were advocating indiscriminate roundups of illegal aliens in the US to boost deportation numbers — while Homan and acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Todd Lyons wanted to focus efforts on those with criminal records.

“ICE started off with the worst of the worst, knowing every target they are hitting, but since Border Patrol came to LA in June, we’ve lost our focus, going too hard, too fast, with limited prioritization,” one senior DHS official told Fox at the time. “It’s getting numbers, but at what cost?”

“ICE is arresting criminal aliens,” another official claimed. “They [Border Patrol] are hitting Home Depots and car washes.”

LINK

Trump is sending a clear message that some of his diehard supporters on this board won't like. If Homan gets his way, you won't see ICE at Home Depots now.

There is also purportedly internal conflict due to CBP fricking up and ICE getting blamed

There has been internal conflict between Noem (and Bovino) and Homan for a while now. Even Trump admitted it.

I guess if you want to argue "he just won't be in that position anymore and was reassigned to his old position," means he didn't lose his job, sure.

Nobody that votes GOP is against the mission. Remove them all. For countless reasons.

This fallout, which will be forgotten in months, is most likely from the press conference calling pretti a domestic terrorist and that he was there to commit murder. That is factually wrong.

It was a bad shoot. Pretti was an idiot. He was there to interfere and in a scrum got shot when the words gun gun gun! Were shouted out. Most likely Pretti's gun.

If leftist idiots in Minneapolis weren't tracking and interfering. Neither he or Good would be dead. That's a fact.

ICE isn't leaving Minnesota, and they certainly aren't going to stop tracking the fraud out of the Somali community.

The left didn't win anything.

You say that as if it's meaningless.

This is like Roosevelt reassigning Eisenhower away from Europe and replacing him with a general with a totally opposite philosophy on how to defeat Germany. Because Bovino and Homan have opposing views on how to win this fight.
