This isnt a new thing. The US has been trying to get greenland since right after we bought alaska, and we offered the danes an INSANE amount of money for it after ww2 ended but they rejected it

I mean this whole fricking nation is an absolute shite show right now, but Trump will still be remembered as one of the greatest Presidents in US history if he pulls off a Greenland acquisition.
If we manage to sneak Alberta, Saskatchewan, Yukon and NT from Canada during Trump’s term, he'll be the uncontested GOAT and liberals will self-immolate en masses.
I mean, the EU showed how super-cereal they are about Greenland by sending what, like 28 total troops to the Island Territory? We could send 10 baws from central Texas and own the island before breakfast.

We have been trying to buy Greenland for like over 100 something years. We offered them cash for it right after we bought Alaska from Russia. This has been a US project for a Long time
