generation that mostly wants to be left alone. Not too surprised my generation decided to say frick you to the MSM, Hollywood etc.
A generation that wants to be left alone. Was taught not to want to be controlled by the establishment.
Has so many that grew up as much on the streets as under a roof. That doesn't take well to being told what to do, and what not to, outside of home or work.
A generation that says frick YOUR PRONOUNS.
The frickers poked the bear too often.
You're welcome.

Yes. GenZ and Millineal feminists haven't been hit with reality yet.

I'm not sure what happened to Millenials.
Boomers got soft as they aged for some reason.
Me and my older sister are both GenX.
parents were pretty strict with us, but also allowed us to “live and learn through experience”. Had “life isn’t fair” and “nothing in this world is free” that type stuff hammer into our heads.
We got sent outside early and wouldn’t come back until dark-thirty or so.
we were encouraged to play multiple sports and other activities all year long.
The only TV was tuned to whatever dad was watching when he was home.
If we wanted expensive shoes or name brand clothes (or the badass steep stack i had as a teenager), we had to come up with the money ourselves to get it.
Little sister was several years younger than me and is a millennial.
and she was “the princess”. got whatever she wanted.
never really took part in anything. wasn’t forced to go outside.
we got a 2nd TV that stayed tuned in to her shows.
me and older sister could either watch what dad watched or watch what she watched.
She always had whatever brand stuff was in style at the time without ever having to go get the money herself etc.
And my parents wonder why she turned out so differently than me and my older sister.
They think the only reason she’s still in a receptionist type position while me and my older sister are running divisions of companies is because “she just hasn’t had the opportunities that we had”
they seriously still can’t grasp that we went out and created, earned, or took those opportunities.
they didn’t just fall out of the sky.
we climbed the ladder.
sometimes slipping on a rung and falling a bit before climbing back higher.

Bad news for democrats if the young people are already conservative..
I’m Gen x and 50 yo. I appreciate still being called young though!

Gen X 49 this month.
2 Gen X kids are Ultra MAGA. I'm actually shocked at how MAGA my daughter is, crazy.
Super proud.

My first vote was for Reagan.
My first presidential election was ‘88 and I voted for Bush.
I remember when I turned 18 in ‘86 and I registered to vote, I registered as a Republican. My whole family was registered as Democrats although they were conservative. When I told my dad I registered as Republican, he jokingly told me, “Well you know the Republicans are only for the rich man right?” I said, “Yeah, I know, and I plan on being one of them also.”

Thank You and You're Welcome. There are reasons why we're the best generation.

That is fine but Gen X were the parents that raised millennials and Gen Z and did a terrible job at it.
Excuse me?
Back up.
We are the generation that was told that if you whip your kids arse like you got as a kid, social services would charge you with child abuse.
And we had to decide whether we'd just let them take your spoiled asses or not.

Nah, you’re close enough, we’ll claim you.

And the greatest generation raised the boomers. If ever a generation needed more of the belt it was the fricking boomers.

“Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times."
Greatest Gen (WWII) [hard men]
Boomers [soft]
Gen X'ers [hard]
Millenials [soft]
Gen Z'ers [tbd]

My 14 yr old is as well

How in the hell can boomers be 50% for Harris. I thought you got more conservative the older you got?
Old folks homes and retirement villages/apartments.
They don't get out into the real world enough to know the MSM that they consume nonstop has become pure bullshet.
And old fart Democrats that have no idea of even pronouns, so have no clue what the party has really become.
And then the true blood reds. Those old fighters are examples to us all.

Too long to quote, but I'd say that you summed it up for what it was like for many of us quite well.
But I just wanna add one more thing. Something we messed up, wanting to give our kids all the things we didn't have.
The big bad world doesn't owe you a damned thing.

Kirk was saying the 18-24 group polled conservative. Their whole game plan was to hit the campuses and turn those into actual votes.
That group probably won him Wisconsin. Young white men.

Disappointed. Wish that number was higher. As a gen X I would have thought he’d carry closer to 60%

Oh hell yeah. That's the generation that lived and died world wars and knew the Great Depression. I was raised by those folks.
