Over time people develop herd immunity. After a 3-4 month period the majority will have had it and developed immunity. A small unfortunate amount will have died.

Unless we keep things shut down for months (where it spreads slowly to everyone) or somehow a vaccine gets approved and mass produced (highly unlikely) we’re just putting off the major spike until we open things back up to normal

If 40% of the country gets it and our CFR is an optimistic 0.06%, the small unfortunate amount of fatalities will be 800,000. If it’s 0.9%, that number is 1.2M.

This is the most amazing trait of Trump. Amongst other miracles he has pulled off, he has liberals pretending to be fiscally conscious :roflmao:

I think it’s worth it

As a divorced, angry hermit, I’m ready to move to a moon base and do some menial job and tell people to frick off when they speak to me.

The virus is a problem and social distancing for the elderly wouldve been a fine idea.

But we've gone completely overboard...and I don't see how you turn back without the treatment being agreed upon.

Past the point of no return

Fear. Fear will stop it. We need more fear . . . and panic.

Is all of this really worth collapsing the world's economy, not to mention usurping the freedoms granted in America?

I still don't see the bodies piling up on my street.

What in the ever-loving frick is really going on here?!?!?...

Keep looking out your window, pal. When you start seeing the bodies piling up on your street, you let us know. Then we'll start talking about doing something, OK buddy?? MAGA!!

Soup...and Scotch.

They tell you to wash your hands with alcohol, and liquor stores are essential businesses during shelter in place.

I'm drinking JD atm, come on Covie, come at me.

It all makes sense now.

Look, another new halfwit.

You actually support putting a dementia patient in office backup up by a no-talent race baiter who cannot balance a checkbook.

You are too stupid to offer anything useful.

Stop breathing.
The absolute only way to remain "safe" is to stop breathing.
It's the human condition. We're exposed to viruses all day every day.
It's a safe bet we've all been exposed to corona.
But for you...just stop breathing.
