If this Armageddon Storm hits and the grid collapses, do we fall apart and Canada invades?

J/K
We'd still kick Canada's arse, even in an ice storm with no power.
Canada will send a lot of help into the northeastern states though ... the blue states.

What would happen to us that Canada would escape?

Left is going to have a field day blaming this on Trump and global warming.

This dude is a ray of sunshine. We’ve seen bad weather before for crying out loud.

Who is the cabinet position that should be revamping our grid?

Numbers aside, I've worked with Canada's military. Unless the crew I was dealing with is a huge outlier, which I guess is possible, we could outfit a few Sheriff departments and be fine.

Everyone’s favorite subject of Greenland right now lives in these temps months on end, Alaskans live in this climate as well. Is it doomsday ? Nah that’s coming with those sun flares that was in the news last week or maybe ices melting causing flooding inland hundreds of miles. I think you have a greater chance of a personal doomsday from the hordes of criminals born foreign and domestic

This might be the most dramatic weather panic I’ve ever seen. Oh no, three inches of ice, some snow, and cold air. Brace yourselves. Whatever will we do? Turn on the heater, light a fire, put on a jacket. It lasts a few days. Huge parts of the country call this winter and keep moving. Compared to a hurricane, this barely even counts as an inconvenience. It’s fear-mongering dressed up as a forecast.
And sure, this is clearly Canada’s moment to invade. The conditions are perfect. It’s cold for a couple days, nothing could possibly go wrong. A flawless plan.
But in all seriousness, while the invasion joke is just that, a joke, the broader political shift isn’t. Canada leaning toward China and growing more openly anti-American over the long term is a real strategic concern. That’s where Greenland stops being a punchline and starts making sense.
The push isn’t just about repositioning power or reducing reliance on NATO, it could also serve as a hedge against our former friendly neighbor if it continues drifting from U.S. interests. From a military perspective, Greenland would be a key control point. Long-term, NATO likely wouldn’t grant us that kind of access if this relationship continues to sour. So, better to secure it now, just in case.
