California, Illinois, New York, and the New England states all cast the first stone with their blatantly unfair redistricting. Texas was just a response to that. This is a temporary win for the Dems as there is very little gerrymandering opportunities remaining now for the blue states. They have maxed out. Red states, however, have many more redistricting opportunities available. I expect we will begin to see this happen and it will be successful. I believe you Democrats have reopened Pandora's box.

Some blue states have zero red districts

FYI, your timeline is backwards. You may want to fix it.

Good luck jamming it through before November
This was a stupid war to start, which seems to be a common theme for this administration.

There is not enough time before the mid terms.
Florida and Louisiana are the only states that can possibly make up for the 4 seats lost in VA and the two in Indiana.
The GOPe is sitting on their hands on this while promoting the establishment.
They spent $100 million on John Cornyn, but only $20 million in VA.

honestly i am waiting for the new redistricting to backfire. in a close election you are more likely to see more district flips as the ratio of R to D is closer across the board than they are now

I believe red states will respond, but I’m afraid they will waste the next few election cycles before they do. It is important in states like a Indiana republicans who balked on expanding the congressional map are voting out and replaced with those who will.

I’ll put my money on the GOP talking a big game and not doing shite. That’s what they are best at

The GOPe is just waiting out Trump’s term. It’s so obvious and a shame not one journalist will call them out to their face on live tv.
They want things to go back to the way they use to be with getting rich from NGOs and foreign dollars just like the democrats. Politicians are some of the lowest people on earth. Trump has been a thorn in all of their corrupt sides.
Imagine being a Republican Majority Leader, with a Republican President, with a Republican Congress and with a republican Supreme Court and still not want to pass something that 85% of people want you to pass. Tell me you’re not corrupt without telling me you’re not corrupt.

And remove the filibuster.
And repeal the repeal of Smith Mundt.

California and NY will take hits after the census. The gerrymandering the left just pulled in Virginia was an ill advised move on their part. I don’t give a flip what lines look like in Texas and Florida when they draw them again following the census. There’s no turn I won’t be okay with.
Gerrymandering is a word The Left can never use again, unless they’re willing to preface it with how they truly started it in Virginia.

Reminds me of when Reid and the Dems pushed through the filibuster change and McConnell told them, “You’ll regret this, and you may regret this a lot sooner than you think.”
The Supreme Court is like it is today because of that vote.
