Gaige needs to be charged with carrying a concealed weapon without a concealed weapon permit. He should be charged with perjury. Justice demands that he be dealt with harshly.
He should be charged with attempted murder for aiming his loaded gun at Ritt's head.

I'm still stunned that the guy admitting to pointing his gun at Kyle. He was trapped on a lot of topics but there was enough wiggle-room from the angle of that picture that he could have denied it. That's probably when the prosecution buried his face in his hands
That's the thing about lying. You have to be smart to do it well. That's why lawyers get paid the big bucks.
The truth is easy. Even a dumb arse can do it right.

Too self serving. He testified he was neutral. Claimed he was giving aid to anyone regardless of side or political affiliation… then the defense played audio of his own live stream calling Kyle a stooge. That’s significant because it not only showed he was lying about being neutral but that he already held a bias towards Kyle long before the shooting.

He literally countered every liberals argument about Kyle being there with a gun at all.
Prosecution puts guy on stand that:
Brought gun to peaceful rally
Had no legitimate reason to be there
Didn’t have legal permit
Had weapon concealed
Had weapon with bullet in chamber
Lied about having a gun
Ran at a person brandishing weapon
Aimed gun at person NOT in self defense

Why his texts and phone weren’t supoenaed is incredible. You know there are tons of texts showing he was there for violence

there was a search warrant for his phone... but the investigators didn't serve it at the behest of the DA's office

The fact the prosecutor told them not to follow through on the warrant for his phone and didn’t go after the skate board are both misconduct. A lay person would know both of those could be exculpatory.

Rittenhouse is going to be a very rich man.

Because the Star Wars pin wearing slim ball prosecutor knew it would completely tank his case instead of it simply crumbling as they go along.

What time does the trial start today, 8am?

Which should be grounds for a suit by Kyle.
Them knowing the phone existed and ignoring a warrant on it may or may not be a Brady violation but it sure establishes the cops and DA were doing a political prosecution and not an investigation.

Contrary to what one of the board's legal "experts" has opined, KR has a solid case for malicious prosecution.
It would certainly beat a 12(b)(6) motion as well as summary judgment.

Going to be hard to top yesterday. Never thought a murder trial could turn into comedy show but that Reketa Law link was gold.

Sure. And they charged the guy retreating with a gun instead of the guy chasing with a gun, who pointed it and did not have a valid concealed carry. Multiple citations ignored there. Including felony charges.
KR gonna be rich when they get done.
