And that tilt will rule in favor of individual rights on guns 5-4. Look at their history. Sorry Toddy.

Right, but if Trump hadn't won, we would be stuck with whatever liberal abomination that Hillary wanted to appoint and would be soon looking at a major assault on the 2nd.

The SCOTUS has ruled that assault weapons bans are unconstitutional? I must have missed that.

Are you going to ignore the question

Gay marriage wasn’t a right conferred rather it was a decision that confirmed the right existed and laws against it were unconstitutional

No one is debating the rights conveyed under the 2nd the debate will be what if any is the limitation?

Do you seriously think polling immediately after a tragic event is going to give you an accurate picture of public opinion?

You take ANY public opinion class in college and this is 101 no-no.

What you fail to see is that the AR-15 will only be the start. As soon as that ban fails to institute any change, they will just come for more.

They ban AR-15, next shooting uses a Hunting rifle or a shotgun, or a pistol. And then that will be the focus of the lefts hatred.

Why would it concern the NRA?
The NRA wants tougher gun laws and better enforcement.

Great Toddy. Guess what massacre the enhanced background check would not have stopped

Douglass in Parkside....Cruz had no criminal record and no mental health rcord

Las Vegas.....Pollack had never been in trouble with the law. Everything was bought legally

Columbine - Kleibold and Harris went on the black market for their guns and used homemade bombs as well

Sandy Hook - Lanza broke into his mothes gun cabinet where the firearms were stored properly, loaded the bushmaster which was legally purchased and mom had no criminal or mental health issue

So short of banning and confiscating a genie that is out of the bottle(AR 15's and Bushmasters, etc) what kind of "common sense" regulations are you going to have?

I'll wait for your answer

That’s bullshite. There was no right to gay marriage until the courts ruled on it, regardless of constitutionality. Even if you confirmed the right it doesn’t mean people had access to that right before the rulings.

As for the 2nd, when you say limitation I hear bans. The left has created their own bed by moving so far left that trust is gone. Give an inch, y’all take miles

It's a good thing we have the rule of written law to protect our polity against the whims of angry mobs.
