Under what circumstances in your view are US Federal Agents permitted to shoot a person who is armed with a pistol and actively fighting the agents and resisting arrest?
It isn’t about my view or your view; it’s about what the courts have ruled.
As I already stated, deadly force is only legally justified if an officer has reason to believe his life or the life of others is in imminent danger.
Now what that means specifically has some variation circuit to circuit. Simply possessing a gun isn’t enough. Simply actively resisting arrest isn’t enough. Reaching for a gun? Without question that will always be a justified shoot, all circuits.

You see, they have these accounts already created just waiting to be activated.
Along with accounts that were opened in 2007 with 20 posts, I call those “sleeper accounts”.

If it shows him pulling a gun, you’ll never see that video

No doubt they could have but the recently deceased decided to commit suicide before time was up.
Maybe. But you speak as if you know definitively. What’s the rush?

Just saw the video. It's going to be hard to justify this one.
Perp was armed and not subdued. Perfectly justifiable.
Lemme guess, you voted for Trump three times but ….

Point of clarification. Life doesn’t have to be in imminent danger. The imminent threat of serious bodily injury is all that is required.

the gun
Why are the Federal Agents obligated to conclude that the suspect resisting arrest, fighting the arresting officers and is armed with a pistol - is now completely unarmed?
Is it possible for a man to be carrying TWO pistols?
How can the arresting agents know that he had only that one pistol and NO other dangerous weapons on this person, like another loaded pistol?

How many more Americans will die before the government of Minnesota does what the majority of other states do and simply cooperates with federal immigration authorities to deport detained illegal aliens? Minnesota would rather Americans die than illegal aliens get deported.
Lofty post, mate

Minneapolis needs to burn!! Maybe it will scatter the rats.

All my more left leaning friends are saying the talking point is the gun was removed moments before the shooting started. I’m not sure how clear that is both in the video and to other agents in the scramble.
I can link everyone to a relatively recent officer involved shooting, where the first thing the police reported to the media was the gun they found on the decedent. Unfortunately, once the body cam was released, you see the officer shot the guy when he was running away, nothing was in his hands, and the gun was not visible. In that instance, the fact he had a gun on him does not weight into the legal analysis one iota.

ICE deportation officers go through 8 weeks of training. It was shortened by this administration to expedite the onboarding process. They also removed age limits and relaxed physical fitness requirements. Have the videos of ICE you've seen looked like a highly trained group to you? Most of them don't look like I'd trust them with pepper spray as mall security. When the leftists regain the white house and send masked ATF agents door to door to check for unregistered firearms, I will maintain my stance as supporting the constitution and defending citizens against government tyranny.

We’re way past time to declare an insurrection and deploy active duty units to MN.

Dude was fighting 5-6 armed federal officers . My hunch is on him having a death wish.
Plus I’m not inclined to believe 5 ice would all decide at once to unload on someone in a public space while being filmed.
Makes no sense. But I recognize how badly you want this to be a murder.

So now they are just to assume every person has as many guns as possible and any resisting should be met with death?
That is now the view of the right?
There would be a hell of a lot of dead people on J6 if that were true. Maybe if we get a real president who is committed to law and order some of these cosplaying police can be charged.

Is MAGA against 2A now? The guy had 5 agents on him, I doubt he could have fired a shot. It was probably one of these untrained buffoons accidentally discharging his weapon, which led to the other untrained buffoon mag dumping into the victim. But you all can wait for Noem and Vance to make statements before you decide what narrative to blindly parrot.
Anyone that upvoted this post is a moron.

He’s unarmed
“At 9:05 AM CT, as DHS law enforcement officers were conducting a targeted operation in Minneapolis against an illegal alien wanted for violent assault, an individual approached US Border Patrol officers with a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun," DHS said in a statement
DHS said that the officers attempted to disarm the suspect, who then "violently resisted."
"Fearing for his life and the lives and safety of fellow officers, an agent fired defensive shots. Medics on scene immediately delivered medical aid to the subject but was pronounced dead at the scene," DHS said. "The suspect also had 2 magazines and no ID—this looks like a situation where an individual wanted to do maximum damage and massacre law enforcement."
