Neither can I. But they have to. Their entire administration hinges on a fearful public. Fearful of interacting with your neighbors and family. Fearful of attending your church, grocery shopping and so on. Covid is one helluva boogeyman for them to use and there are millions of people that want to be scared and looked after. I don’t have an issue with the elderly and immunocompromised being worried and taking measures to protect themselves. They have reason to just like any other year when the flu makes its rounds. But for the country to be held hostage is just absurd. I’m 44, in good shape and overall health. If I get sick so be it. My immune system will do its job.
