The fact that she released her letter tells me Bondi was right.

Trump’s US Atty for the SDNY resigned less than a month on the job because she didn’t want to go along with a quid pro quo directed by upper-level DOJ It’s so rich considering all the hee-hawing about depoliticizing DOJ. That’s it. It won’t move the needle on anything really. She still didn’t beat the Mooch’s record for fastest tenure

How are you not too embarrassed to lose it like this.

He broke you in 3 weeks.

I enjoyed that segment. Hadn’t seen those guys before. Surprised their show is so short. 17 mins on average.

No one is losing anything. It’s remarkable how people go in and out of the Trump administrations. This time was supposed to be different. His hand-picked prosecutor for the most important federal district in the country literally quit in less than a month because his other political appointees above her ordered her to do something she found unethical.

Poo poo it all you want. It’s a major story in normal time. It’s a blip on the radar now because it’s become the norm for him.

Is that a legal phrase you learned on the north side of the city?

She prosecuted SBF. Not every federal prosecutor is like Jack Smith. Some actually take their jobs very seriously. They thought they had a real case against Adams.

They didn't try to sabotage Trump or go deep state. They said ok, if that is what you want to do, we are not a part of it. I can respect that.

What is galling is her new boss told he SHE was going to be investigated for a political prosecution. Seriously?

New sheriff in town, and she didn't want to get with the program. She did the right thing.

In criminal cases, there is no “dismissal without prejudice.” That’s a civil term. In criminal cases, a dismissal is final

There is something larger in the works relative to the Trump administration and the mayor. I can hardly wait to see what that is. I knew when Adams started to cozy up with Trump before the election, he was going to get a pardon. We will now see why.
There are a lot of bad, uncooperative politicians in New York. For now Adams will not be one of them.

Thanks. I didn't practice criminal law. I will look up the correct term, but DOJ seemed pretty confident about "dismissal without prejudice."

The cultists on here obviously didn’t read all 8 pages…this is a disgusting move by Bove and Bondi should have intervened to allow the prosecution to proceed.
