People like Terry Carmack are the reasons I don’t believe in Term Limits.
He made a deal with Thune and the rest of the Vichy Republicans to let McConnell take the “political” fall so that Terry Carmack could remain chairman of the Rules Committee and Mitch McConnell could think he’s actually doing something.
If and when McConnell dies, Terry Carmack will still get to run shite. He’ll just “work” for John Thune or Lindsey Graham or something.
You can’t un-elect Terry Carmack. You don’t even know who TF he is. Terry Carmack becomes more powerful with term limits bc he’s the one that “knows how things work” and so when the Facemen come and go, he’s there to show everyone how it’s done.
The only people who should have term limits are the Terry Carmacks. They should be interns. Not career.

Even the staffers are building generational wealth.
You know absolutely NOTHING about how a Senate office works. Generational wealth?….in Washington DC?
Let me break it down for you:
Starting Salary for most entry-level and staffers (usually 2-4 staffers): $30k
Legislative Correspondents: $30-40K
Legislative Assistants: $40-80K, depending
Scheduler(s): $60K
Legislative Director: $80-100K
Ops and misc: $50-60K
Chief of Staff: $180-200K
State Staff: $30-80K, depending
Most likely 2/3rds of the staff work in DC and the other 1/3rd work in the state.
Now look at the cost of living in DC. Average rent for a 1br is $2500-3K.
Not advocating or justifying Turtle McConnell, but don’t speak about things you don’t know. Makes you look like an uneducated a-hole, which you probably are.

It's amazing to me that McConnell, or any Congressman, needs a staff of 40.
Yea, that’s insane. Are all these funded by the government, or are some campaign staffers funded by their campaign contributions?

Girl, are you seriously talking shite about McConnell's hands when Trump has the same problem?
A problem common to old people that take blood thinners
Seriously Clark???? Lol
That's a ridiculous comparison!!!!
Have you ever seen Trump almost stroke out, TWICE, while standing in front of reporters giving a statement???
Try harder!

Maybe a Chief of staff or legislative director, but I can assure you congressional staffers aren't building generational wealth. I was one for several years after college in DC. My salary was 42k and I got paid once a month

All the stuff you listed but you forgot to note they have Pelosi's/McConnell list of Bills and how they affect Stocks.
I would work for no salary if I had that list.

Careful. You might get dizzy with all the spinning you're doing.
Are you going to deny that Trump doesn't have the same problem with his hands?

That's a good question.
Each staff's salary probably totals big bucks on a yearly basis when travel expenses and entertainment are thrown in.
Let's face it. Every fiber, every facet, of our government is bloated and robbing us blind.

It's amazing to me that someone can create a thread about this douchenozzle being behind the effort to block transparency on the UFO/UAP thread and it's met with applause and people saying, "yeah, frick this guy. We need term limits" etc, but when someone creates a thread about how we are getting that same disclosure anyways through presidential directive it is widely booed and the thread instantly shite upon by like eleventy billion frickin trolls.
