Any 84 year old woman abducted from her home at 2am in the morning then held for ransom would likely be a massive news story regardless of who her family is. The fact that it's Savanah Guthrie's mom makes it more noteworthy.
Is it someone she did a negative story on seeking revenge? That's always possible I guess, but this would be a big deal regardless of who her daughter is.

I initially had suspicions of the sister and husband. Just from looking at her, she had sort of the crazy eyes and he looks shady himself.
But reading some about the sisters and how they were raised and took care of their mom, I'm wavering on my suspicions of her.
He still seems sus though.

My wife's parents live in Mountain Brook, AL. If they were kidnapped from their home in the middle of the night with a potential ransom note, I would bet the story would get a lot of media attention. Maybe Kash doesn't get involved, but rich white people get the spotlight often when stuff like this happens.

This situation reminds me of dumb and dumber. Some nobody woman is kidnapped and the family really doesn’t seem bothered and it’s likely and inside job or someone they know.
