My understanding is that there may have been a skeleton in the closet that reared its head for Rosendale. Not sure if true, but Rosendale officially entered the race then quickly dropped out. They may have had something on him. Idk for sure.

He dropped out because Trump endorsed Sheehy. Trump has a hardon for Rosendale being Rosendale snubbed him during the Kevin McCarthy fight in the House.
That's why I asked the question - it seemed like Rosendale had the best shot, but hopefully the Republican wins anyway.

I like Rosendale, but he got crushed by Tester when he ran against him. Rosendale is also a rich out-of-stater, but he doesn’t have the Navy Seal credentials that Sheehy has. And Sheehy earned his money in Montana, having moved here after his military service. Sheehy is a better candidate than Rosendale. I think he’d be a lock to win if it wasn’t for the public lands/hunting access stuff which matters to a lot of Montanans. I still think he’s going to win because Sheehy has successfully painted Tester as a lackey of Biden and Schumer. But it will be closer than it should be.

He has no record, just a biography. He's an upper middle class guy brought up in the suburbs of Minneapolis St. Paul , went to the Naval Academy,, made the SEALS and started an aerial firefighting company in Montana.
