Ummm, if they are here illegally, they are not 'innocent'.
I've been to other countries on business and pleasure. I don't consider myself a 'resident' unless I've applied and been approved for some sort of long term program.

It's not all about a threat. Removing the criminal element of the illegal population is just the top layer. It's about the number of illegals in the country, and also how most of them got here. This may sound petty but in truth it's something very different - we can't let what we saw Democrats do the last four years stand. Deport every single illegal from the Biden era, and then we can have a rational discussion about those that remain, the population that predates 2021.

I was chatting in a Reddit forum on landscaping and doing some stonework. Somebody was discussing bringing in stonemasons from Italy, then a Dem/Leftist idiot chimes in it's not a good time to visit the US. Of course, I chirped back, "Wrong. It's a great time!" With the Trump "wrong!" gif file.
Well, he responds, "not if you're a bricklayer here illegally like I am". In return I advised him to self deport and come back legally. He reported me to the group MOD who deleted it and wrote that I violated some rule about respecting the legal status of others.
I just thought I was offering solid advice. He gets caught it's a lot worse for him.

Biden did say he was gonna do that while campaigning in 2020. He defended Obama's immigration record against the progressives, was one of the only nominees to say no to decriminalizing border crossings (even Bernie flipped)

The Dems totally bought this on. Flooding the border with a bunch of low IQ criminals probably wasn't smart on their part. Dems also screwed the pooch by trying to lump all Latinos together. They are still trying to lump Latinos crossing the border with citizens who are 3 or 4 generations removed from Mexico or Central America. Alot of these people are well off and pay taxes, own homes, have accumulated wealth, and are assimilated. They are worlds apart. The Dems have miscalculated this issue, made several big mistakes, and the few that are resisting are old boomers and single millennial women with cats.
