What stance do you expect homeowners to take?
We want the value of our homes to fall to help potential buyers and lessen our sale amounts.
I had to repay my student loans and I know it's frustrating to deal with all the lifetime bills folks encounter on things like college, rent/mortgage, healthcare etc.
But it's not just a Gen Z issue or Gen X, etc. I'm Gen X and I try to be understanding on....everybody is dealing with these cost issues across the board.

The funny thing is, the more socialist the country becomes the higher home prices will be.
The home value remains the same, but the more the currency is devalued the higher the home price will be.
Same with gold, silver, and physical assets in general.

I'd be interested in hearing this as well. Should we hope our investments take a deep hit because it helps other people who decided they have an expiration date to start investing?
I guess GenX is now the new boomers. And millennials on deck. GenX just doesn't GAS though. We are literally the middle child of the three oldest generations.

It’s funny to watch people simultaneously say that mass deportation should be supported because it lowers home prices and then say that rising home prices are a good thing for America

It would be wonderful too if dipshit congress could support what Trump wants too.
And what should "dipshit congress" have greenlit that Trump wanted that truly helps "Make America Great"?
You can NOT be talking about:
-- The "Big Beautiful Bill"??
-- Handing the Ukraine hundreds of BILLIONS more?
-- Financing thousand of AI Data Centers?? (what are their "benefit"?)
-- Spending another HALF TRILLION on "National Defense"? (aka --Regime Change, War-Rumbling, Territory-Snatching and Nation-Occupying?)
-- Further HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS spent/wasted on questionable the "Golden Dome" defense project?
Trump prioritized MIGA. He wants to glorify himself with personal legacy BS; "Making America FIRST"? Naah.
I haven't seen the real or actual "MAGA" commitment or agenda plans. HAVE YOU??

He wants people that don't have tons of money to be able to still afford a house and he wants people that bought houses for investments to still make money off their home purchase investments.
Only a Tim Walz retarded dumbass would not be able to figure out this is what he means

Simply lowering the interest rate does not do that if housing keeps increasing from its currently insane levels

As a 35 year old with a home that’s paid off, I’m good with this

A house identical built in New Orleans, L A. San Fran, Orlando or McComb Ms would carry vastly different values. So maybe consider the location before you throw out over priced.

I missed the part where that’s relevant. The message that people not losing value in their homes is “giving Dems a gift” is misplaced. Whoever posters claim to support.

I mean it’s terrible messaging regardless of what he meant by it, and based on social media responses to it it has absolutely been received in a negative way.

I'm not sure homeowners are framing it as "a higher home price is good for America."
Those individuals are going to look out for their own interests and want a higher home price. Whether it's great for the country or not......what do you expect them to say/want?

Gasoline is a small win.
Food prices continue to escalate. Same NG & electricity, water and insurance prices -- all are skyrocketing.
There is no federal enforcement of stopping weather modifcation programs wrecking havoc upon us.
Already $39 trillion in debt -- and Trump's "Big Beautiful Bill" was passed. ZERO reductions of NGO spending either; and another half-trillion allocated to...DEFENSE SPENDING??
This was a no-brainer policy. Better late than never -- but the damage is already done. 750k deportations isn't getting it done.
I still wonder why it wasn't enacted during 2017-2020. Or why any REAL "Wall" wasn't built (a "fence" isn't a "wall")
And by the way -- it was still Trump's policy to completely shut down and lock down the US economy in 2020 over a phony "Covid pandemic"; With still no investigation ordered for those Biggest of Shenanigans EVER. (WHY did he so easily surrender Presidential authority to FEMA in March, 2020 without questioning the operation??)

An entire generation (or two) has been convinced by the Left that their economic prospects are uniquely bleak, that they don't have the same opportunities generations before them had. It's nonsense. Life in the US has never been better and easier than it is today.
