Correct. State Department owns the failures in both Afghanistan and Iraq. Most woke department in US government including USAID.

Sorry. I doubt it. Not that our military CAN'T. It's that they WON'T.
The cartels aren't going to stand and fight. They're going to melt into the populace and thereby negating the US armed forces biggest advantages: intelligence, precision targeting and overwhelming firepower. The first time a little brown baby so much as gets a bruise every white woman in America will freak out.
The ROE in Mexico for our forces will make Vietnam look like a John Wick movie.

LOL. A single carrier strike group could systematically annihilate the entire country of Mexico.
Cartels don’t play. LOL.

My vote: since all genders are equal, send in a battalion of only women. Throw in some trans peeps as operational support

What is the Cartel’s defense against tomahawk missile attacks? 75% would be dead at the very beginning of the attack

I’d guess they’ll go after the cartels production centers first. Burn down their fields, blow up their buildings, and then send in small sf teams to kill/capture high ranking members.
It seems this tik tok fool thinks we’re going to fight the same way they fight by sending in ground troops. She’s in for quite a surprise.

Sure Cartels don't have a chance toe to toe. But they don't play toe to toe.
Will we have permission to fly into Mexico to take out Cartel? Will Mexico ramp up and drive them out?
The cartel will go after military, police, politician leaders families and maybe even hit American families that have family members involved in operations.
It won't be a straight up fight.
Mexico will not tolerate collateral damage by the US if they are allowed to operate in Mexico.

I just pray the first strikes are simultaneously on 100 of their highest priority targets, including their palatial residences. Then we go silent. Any and all survivors found are removed with silent precision.

I am all for wiping those piece of shite bastards off the planet in the most heinous ways. But alot of you have no clue at what your talking about. We cant just drop ordinance all over the country. The cartels purposely embed themselves with the civilian population to prevent this very thing. This is a systematic dismantling that has to take place. Yea you will catch some targets of opportunity in the open and annihilate them with drones strikes, but all this tomahawks for hours crap is just stupid. These dudes have intel all over our country in our justice system in our pentagon. They will know when this shite is gonna kick off before our soldiers do. They are a cancer that can only be removed with a scalpel not a bazooka.

US Military did frick all with the “cartels” in the Middle East, but I’m hoping for the best.

I want to believe this. But if you haven't noticed, unless we are able to indiscriminately carpet bomb large swaths of land, we aren't very good at war lately.

How many operational bombers and fighter jets does the Cartel have?
I don't want to be THAT guy, but I'm going to be. How many operational bombers and fighters did the Taliban have when we were fighting them in Afghanistan? Don't underestimate the cartels or any potential opponent for that matter. They will always surprise you when you do.

Cut the head(s) off the chicken(s) off and let them kill each other.

The Cartels have better military capabilities than you are giving them credit for. Also, they have only one rule they play by - WIN. Just win. They don’t care about optics. In fact, the harsher the optics the better for them.
We don’t have the political will to defeat the cartels in a heavy, boots on the ground type conflict. Hell, I don’t even know if we have the wherewithal to go after them in a limited capacity. When bodies start stacking people will fold.

Maybe Trump has the balls to get Erik Prince involved and really shite those frickers down. This could be over quick.
Trump should sign some letters of marque for Erik. Tell Erik he gets to keep whatever non drug stuff he finds.

Our military would decimate the cartels in quick order. They are used to freedom of maneuver throughout Mexico. That would vanish about 1 minute after the order to begin. The danger is in what they do in the interior of the US and with weapons systems they've gotten on the black market such as MANPADS, AT4's, Javelins, etc.

If we lose one soldier in a fight against her cartels, it will be one too many.
I hope we do this ten thousand times, creating a no man's land buffer 1 mile wide across the boarder.
