What makes you think his support has never been higher? Because he won a straw poll at some CPAC convention where a bunch of MAGA pussies voted? He, at best has about 30% of the population supporting him. He probably should form his own party, he's fricked it up for the Republicans to be successful for the next few years.

finally, a voice of reason and reality

DeSantis 2024!

Do you really think that DeSantis could win the White House if Trump ran third party and split the Republican vote ?

Ron might need help from those wacky supporters of Trump as you call them, because he probably won't get much help from the other side.

That sounds like a perfect recipe to elect another Democrat.

“Isn’t it already split? Those who love trump vs those who hate him? That’s my point, does he have enough support from those who support him to just break away and leave the old rinos in the dust? “

Yes but even a lot of the GOPe, vocal about him and not liking him much, STILL voted for him. Reality is, especially with the Dem cheating…truly fracturing the Republicans is a no win!

Why do that? We're taking over a party with a national reach.

It is. It’s going to be painful, but something must be done to kill off the GOP. They’ll always be part of the problem. Nothing changes until the GOP is replaced.

If Trump left to establish another party, DeSantis would follow him, as would about half a dozen other governors. More would follow later.

Ross Perot circa 1992

Ross Perot won 19% of the vote and gave us Bill and Hillary Clinton.

Bush Sr. had 38% and Clinton only had 43%.

Ironically, Perot trying to save the country put in place the Clinton mafia that is damn close to destroying it.

It's is easiest.

To start off you get around 40% NPCs voting for the D no matter what the candidate is saying.

You don't even need a working brain or the stamina to run around the country. You can do it all from your basement.

After that all you need to do is pick off the rinos by being somewhat reasonable sounding, and Bob's your uncle.

People will say because it will split the vote and that it will ensure that democrats win. But that is a dumbass take. Even when the republicans win, they lose. They never do anything to punish the other side for their wrongdoings. The never push through legislation they said they would. They never repeal what they said they would. They win just to be in power and then do absolutely nothing in regards to what they promised their constituents. What’s the point of winning power if your leaders do not do anything? Might as well leave democrats in power because at least our republican leaders can get up on Fox News and bitch and complain as if they are really upset about the democrats and their actions..

85% of republicans, us deplorables, back Trump. Likewise about 85% of GOP LEADERSHIP are corrupt TDS pussies. He doesn’t need a new party, he needs to purge the powerbrokers in the current party. A hit man would be advisable

I have seen the rallies. Look and sound just like Wallace rallies did in '72.

Because third party candidates have done so well in the past.
