You had to take an experimental gene therapy with at best a limited safety and efficacy profile for a disease that has nearly zero impact on you as a requirement to go to school? Weird, all I had to do was take a range of proven, approved vaccines (under the real, old description) for diseases that could kill or maim me.

Yes, but that's not the whole story. If your kid opts out of the Covid shot and an outbreak happens (just 2 kids out of say 1000 students) then your opted out kid cannot participate in football, basketball etc. You understand that, right?
