Im convinced that a vast majority of posters are either pathetically old or mildly retarded.
This smells like confused insecurity to the fullest.

I’d gladly take Lane but I’m not sure how he’s been anointed as this can’t miss hire. The guy has had plenty of relative failures in his career.

I am in complete agreement with OP. How about a local middle school PE teacher first? Any moderately successful woman's soccer coach? Maybe a limp stalk of celery? Any of these would be better than Kiffin. His successes have been mediocre at best, however his level of douchebaggery is completely off the charts! This shell of a man is unacceptable as the leader of anything I would ever support. If he left Ole Miss for the LSU job...it would be just one more example of him turning his back on promises and commitments before delivering on any of those promises. It is one thing to deliver and then leave to take on the next greater challenge...that is warrior mentality! It is a whole other thing to time and time again turn your back on those you have pledged loyalty too for the sake of your own personal gain. If he is hired at LSU, in a few years he might get us to a playoff appearance that results in a 1st round loss with great expectations for the following season and then jump ship to an NFL team. So many of you just don't get it...when someone shows you exactly who they are...believe them!

Don't change the subject
It's an implied part of your statement. Answer the question.

I love it when posters hate your choice in things, but are to chicken shite to give their opinion.

He probably wants PJ Fleck so we can lose with class

I just found out that JAMES CREGG is on staff at Ole Miss.

They never do so that they complain about any hire made, regardless of who it is.
Pirate King made a thread complaining about possible hires as well, and when I asked who he would be ok with he ran from the thread like the bitch he is as well.

If the donors want to pay that I’m ok with it. I think pro football and baseball contracts are outrageous too but if they want to pay they much I’m fine with it. Sean Hannity makes $25 million a year and with radio $45 million. It’s all entertainment at every level so they can make what’s offered to them as long as public money isn’t used.

Oh please! Get off of your pedestal! Every Coach we’ve had after Saban, chased pu$$y, you’re saying that’s a disqualification because he has that in his past?? Dude’s been a ROCK at OM and turned that bottom feeder into a Contender and is an Offensive Guru who Coached under Saban to win a Championship. Stop with this sanctimonious nonsense.

I agree. I can see Lane being a head case if/when he starts banging young hotties. Happened to the last three.
How many coaching jobs has he had in the last ten years?
If shite starts going south he will bail and our program would look about as bad as it does now or worse

I will also sign the petition that I’d rather take a chance on the North Texas guy, Golesh at S Florida or whomever is the DC at UGA vs. Kiffin or Urban Meyer or any “splash” hire. Sumrall clearly can coach football but seems nuts to get in a bidding war for him. Now, if he takes Auburn to 11-2 every year we will lament not trying hard to get him. There are people that do this for a living - I just hope they interview the right folks

Not sure Lane wants any part of you guys or any other program not named OM at this point.

Without a doubt, all of the "Give me Kiffin or give me death!" types on here will be the first and the loudest ones who turn on him. When it is 4th and 3 from the LSU 28 and he goes for it out with a jet sweep reverse or, 1st and goal at the 1 and he throws three straight times out of 4-wide shotgun and then tries an inside shovel pass on 4th down that gets blown up tRant will be in all of it's glory.

Lane brings with him a HUGE price tag and the same BS we heard when BK was hired. With BK it was, "If he could win at ND, just think what he could do with LSU's talent!" With Lane it's " If he could win at Ole Miss, just think of what he could do with LSU's talent and a place committed to winning"
Give me the young and hungry coach who will work himself to death before letting the Tigers lose. Think Jay Johnson style football coach. Who is he and where is he? I don't know but I pray they find him.
