I thinj he was always just stepping in because Bo left so late in the off season.

I don’t blame him. If I was an All American Dlineman for LSU and had a 10+ year All pro career in the NFL, I’d want to lay back and just enjoy life with family and no worries too.

I sure as hell wouldn't be working if I didn't have to. He can enjoy time with his family and any hobbies he has. I'm pretty envious.

He ain’t built for the NIL era

I mean he did sign the best DL class in school history.

Maybe he just doesn't want to keep dealing with it, but he's certainly "built" for it.

I know it's not always an exact representation, but On3/Rivals doesn't have Kyle as a the primary or secondary recruiter of any of the DL this year. They are all listed as Wilson and Peoples

Being a good player does not always translate into being a good coach. Not saying this is the case here

It's not the case here so why even bring it up?

Lots of chatter on here, take that for what it’s worth, that he wants to step back for a while.

He’s going to hang out in the blind during the fall and Squire Creek in the spring with about $30m in the bank.

Thought he did a great job as D Line coach this year. I wouldn’t have minded keeping him but Lucas is definitely an upgrade.

KW did as good a coaching job this past year as any coach on the staff. It is his choice to not be coaching going forward at LSU. Things have changed and he doesn't want any more part of it. Can't blame the man, he doesn't need the aggravation. Thanks for helping LSU this past year, when LSU needed it .
