Screaming/loud moaning during sex?

I've only lived in my parents house or in thin-walled apartments. That's always prevented any type of noisey sex. Same situation for my GFs as they've all lived with their parents or an apartment that demanded pillow or hand-to-mouth muffling. Sure, there have been secluded moments to be as loud as we wanted, but after decades of self-muting/restraint, those moments were too infrequent to break the mime habit.
Do screamers only exist with homeowners? And even then, by the time you have your freedom to be as loud as you want as often as you want, there's probably a kid on its way as a result, so you'd be back to whispers or sign language in no time.
So, homeowners who decided against having children are the only ones that can get away with it on the reg, right? I have to believe screaming couples are a minority.

One time, after my dad left for the day, I told my girlfriend we were alone and she could be as loud as she wanted. Im sure she was exaggerating bc im bad at sex, but she got into it. Really into it. After we finished, I walked to the bathroom to pee and I told her that my dad stopped me in the hallway and told me good job. She looked like she had seen a ghost. Probably the last piece I got for a week.
