Coach Chappy, I'll always be grateful for seeing your post about the 699 Pros a while back. Taking your praise for the irons into account when I decided to buy the clubs, even without even hitting them, my blind purchase has paid dividends for which I am truly grateful! I hope you like the 849D. I ordered a demo of the 849 Pro when I was in the market for a driver, but I was not impressed with the feel of the club, especially my misses. My natural shot shape is a draw, so the 849 Pro is the only driver of Sub 70 line I was willing to test. However, my swing is not as well grooved as it should be because I lack the time to put in the work for the desired consistency for which I am looking. Instead, I opted for the Ping G425 for my upgrade in my driver and have been impressed with the results. However, I probably need to be fit to keep to reach optimal settings for my driver, but I'll roll with what I have for the time being. Once again, much appreciation for opening my eyes to the Sub 70 line of irons!

I asked for 5 dozen neon lime Vice Pro balls and got them.
I asked for a Mizuno golf glove and got it.
I already dont like the Mizuno golf glove as it has the extra pads on thumb and palm. I much prefer gloves that have a single layer for the whole hand.

To play a round in April. Have not played in 3 years due to ailments and surgeries. Rehabbing right now. At my age though, I’ll take waking up each day.

Just ordered a 4 and 5 iron. Started playing this year with an iron set that starts with a 6 iron. Got lessons and due to the setup/swing changes, my irons are doing well, but my hybrids and fairways are hooking pretty bad.
Went with the KE4 Max from Golfworks. Have a few shots on the home course they should be very helpful on. Hoping they are as forgiving as all the reviews say they are.

I asked for balls and a rolling storage cart for the garage. Got both. I didn't think I'd like the storage cart as much as I do but it fits all of my stuff and I can move it around if I need to

Got a Sunday golf bag for the range, kept complaining about carrying my cart bag to the range when all only really ever hit 4 or 5 clubs total.. Wife listened for once..
