Serious question, why are we favored by 22.5 and why does everyone on here assume this will be a blowout? I understand they got drilled by Indiana last week but have they really fallen that far in the last couple years? They were a 8 win team last year.

lost all coaches. Lost all players. Lost all recruits worth a damn. Hired a moron. Barely beat Hawaii and got run outta town by Indiana. The first time LSU hits em in the mouth it is over

Chip Kelly bailed on them in Feb and they had to try to find a coach when the market was basicly closed. Transfer Portal decimated them and new coaching staff. They will likely try to right the ship after this season if it does not go well this year. Not saying their HC is a bad coach or guy but he was put in a really bad situation.

Because UCLA has apparently given up on football, hired a crappy coach and has little talent.

Their head coach from the last few years left to be an OC for a team in their own conference. Their DC who was a big piece in getting them those 8 wins, went across the street to USC

To be fair yo UCLA, kelly left on Feb 9th. 2 months before spring training. They hired an alum who would actually take that job.

Random off topic UCLA-BR connection.

They brought in Baton Rouge native and Catholic High grad Marcus Thomas as running backs coach.

If we don't decimate UCLA at home tomorrow, I'm going to be livid. No excuse not to humiliate this lowly edition of the Bruins. A close game would be an indictment of the coaching staff.

The best part about it their HC wasn't retained by Kelly and took a job with the Raiders. When Kelly left they hired him back.

Probably, but that doesnt help their potential outcome. They're screwed this year.

the question should be...could they beat Nicholls State. If they would iyo, then take the 25 points where I last heard the spread to be. If they couldn't beat Nicholls, then I'd take the Tigers, but it would likely be close.
