Yeah they overpaid them all to keep them from Lane. That's fine. Plenty of players to choose from

But the narrative was it’s LK’s team and all the players will be lined up to leave with him … well Not so much.
But some guys will hit the portal today. None of the superstars are leaving. They’re all coming back.
WR5 will leave and go to LSU. Maybe a DT Mainly kids looking to play more stuck behind someone better."

To say it wasn’t LK that built the team and credit him for the historic success is gross and patently wrong. Like - you can admit what Lane did was amazing but you don’t like how it ended. That’s fine. But don’t act like a scorned lover when the pretty belle of the ball leaves you at the alter.

He’s delusional. OM will be a shell of itself next year. And the year after that completely off the cliff. That school requires heavy reloading every year through the portal. Which they cannot do anymore bc Kiffin orchestrated it.

Lane and Weis' offense is the reason the game wasn't a blowout. Golding's defense gave up over 450 yards to a very average offense that had many self-inflicted mistakes.

I said this when Chambliss and Lacy re-upped. I figure if those two stay then most will stay as well. The caveat though is if Chambliss waiver is denied.
The LSU activity in the portal reflects this as well. We aint waiting for nobody right now.
