Seems there are quite a few on here who think we don't need to blow it up, rather just need a few tweaks.

I'm just curious why you feel that way?

What qualifies as a full rebuild to you?

Who are the only players you keep?

Ftr, I'm fully OK with the rebuild blow up. I'd keep fears trey queen and bey, while listening to offers for bey and Trey if they were good enough

I don’t trust Dumars to be in charge of a rebuild

I don’t trust Gayle to fire Dumars

I don’t trust our current roster construction to win games

I don’t trust anyone in charge of this team to do anything correctly

So I don’t know what the answer is, but it makes me sad

Doesn't matter what anyone think, they pretty much indirectly said they're not doing it. Not sure what else to say about it now.

This is such a loser bootlicker take.

“Well gee guys, Gayle says we’re not doing it so we have to accept it.”

Yea... Unfortunately there's nothing the fans can do to make them do anything about it even via attendance. They've already proven that they don't care what we think. They only fold under the pressure of the national media.

The state of the franchise is just so sad. No direction, No picks, no money to sign players, and anchors like hard to move contracts like Murray and Poole.

Then the Trae trade really puts a damper on any.hopea of us getting back a pick with any players they're willing to trade.

The market is non-existent for this team and there's really nothing that will change it. They're in a corner and they're staying there for at least another year.

And just exactly how do you think you are going to change that?

Pels need to fix this (may not take full rebuild):
Last in League in 3pt percentage

Yes - rebuild, but maintain the 3 rooks. In addition to the lack of 3 point shooting, the team ranks 4th to last in number of offensive rebounds given up per game. This team is just horrendous at simple fundamentals, like boxing out your man.

The sooner a rebuild happens the sooner the team can be a real contender. Continuing to try to win will only kick the can further.

Everyone should be available for trade except for Queen and Fears. They already got two good rookies there. They could be ahead of the game already before the sell off.

But if they keep trying to win and kicking the can, Queen and Fears will be a few years older before they blow it up and might want out and not wanna spend 4 years through a rebuild after the front office dicked around their first few years in the league.

The time to blow it up is now.

I would at least have interest in the team again with a rebuild.

Zion being the face of this franchise is an insult in and of itself. The Dumars hire while terrible...it is what it is and we are stuck with it. Trading to get back into the draft would be admitting a mistake but at least shows you can learn from mistakes.

Like not firing Willie once hired.

We still have a month but he better be prepared to full fire sale before the draft if he holds this shite sandwich together till then.

Wouldn’t rebuild imply something was built ?

This team has been building for 15 years now

Queen and fears. Everyone else isn’t on the table. They need to be moved. Everyone, even Herb, who is my favorite player.

If your name isn’t Queen or fears, you go stand over there on the left.

Everyone on the right is still a pelican. Everyone on the left is a future former pelican.

If there’s no realistic way anybody here can influence management or Gayle Benson, I’m not sure that makes them a bootlicker or that they “accept” anything… message boards are not the real world…

They been half building. Issue is Dumars and Gayle are old and dont value long term success so a rebuild is never likely which is dumb for a small market.

Build on Fears, Matkovic, Missi, Murphy, Peavy, and Queen (alphabetical)

The rest have got to go.

Sidenote 1: I reserve judgement on Murray until I see him on-court.

Sidenote 2: I'll let you know what I think about Borrego after I see the rest of the season.

All of this. It cannot happen soon enough and everyone but the rooks should be on the table. I'd be fine keeping Trey if we got enough for Zion, Herb, and Co. But if Trey is out most valuable asset he needs to be shopped.

The longer we wait, the more we miss out on potentially doing something good with Queen and Fears.
