I was never in favor of gambling becoming legal everywhere and more accessible. There may come a time when I will give up watching sports since I will never know if my team either won or lost fair and square. And that’s a shame since sports has always been a passion of mine.

Get rid of the bullshite prop bets and most of the problem goes away.

Scantron and Eliquis are shitting bricks right now and just hoping that Cedquavious and Dyquavion don't snitch them out too!

Online betting had nothing to do with this...move along ...wink wink.

This is just the very tip of the iceberg.

I've long wondered this but now I'll ask, what is the reason behind names like this?

If you don't think this has been going on for decades you a fooling yourself. Tulane point shaving incident was not as isolated as people think.

The hypocrisy from the NCAA, NBA, NFL, and MLB. They warn about the dangers of gambling but are promoting it for all of their contests.

I know it has been going on to a certain degree. But I fear it will become more and more commonplace and will ruin the sports experience.

Why do these mommas make up names that sound like Romans fed through a Piglatin generator?

To the contrary.

It's MUCH easier to catch now with so much data and information available than it was when point shaving schemes were being run by the mob and local bookies.

Are there really prop bet lines for players that average single digit points per game on bottom feeder teams in some of the lowest tier conferences in D-1?

Man, betting the spread or the Over/Under has been a core part of sports gambling for a long time, but you're right. Unfortunately that's where the online bookies are making all their money.
