No way… Ask the uninformed on this board and they’ll tell you LSU “ has talent”. Ray Charles knows better. MM has turned team over every year as well… He just doesn’t know how to do it and can’t.

Bottom line is not only is their coaching on another level than ours but their commitment to basketball is too. We need a new coach but to get the right one we will have to show the financial commitment to winning in Men’s Basketball. Otherwise it will be a vicious continuous cycle of mediocrity. Don’t know if we have finances to commit to championship level commitment in all sports or not.

It would be great to have a player with the talent level of Morant.
But for this year, the top immediate priority is a healthy Thomas providing the high level of point guard play he provided earlier.
Even if that happens, a new head coach for next season and beyond is a necessity.

After watching the game last night, I feel it may be a distinct possibility McMahon outpasses Tom Crean as the losingest Div I coach ever over a four-year span if he's allowed to finish the season. That was ugly, and Saturday night's encounter in Fayetteville promises only to be worse, worse, much worse.

As does pretty much every other team in the SEC because they spend more $$ so that their Basketball Teams can be competitive/ LSU DNGAF about Mens Basketball and the only reason it even exists is because of SEC TV $$
