The latest comprehensive data for the entire UN system shows total revenue of approximately $67.6 billion in 2023. So they burned through that much money in just 3 years and they need more? If this were a company there would be a full audit from the SEC. Maybe it’s time organizations like this stop making themselves rich and actually do the work they are supposed to do.

Good, I hope Ted Turner is pissed...
All the money he donated to the UN went to waste...

The idea of the UN is fine. Kind of like Wilson’s 14 points.
To a degree, so is communism or a kibbutz.
The reality is, though, that they completely ignore the human element.
Animal Farm was all about how simplistic ideals never hold up in the real world.
I’d like any defender of the UN to name the last time it actually accomplished anything that wasn’t overwhelmingly a function of US strength and resources.

How will they fund transgender puppet shows in Uganda?

I'll take "What happens when you give money to people for fake science in the name of climate change?"
Lefties would secretly call it wealth redistribution. However it's how Globalists launder money

How much of that money is siphoned off to grift and corruption?

Hmmmm.
USAID is cut dramatically.
UN is now running out of money.
What a strange coincidence.

Going a step further, many of the "missions" they took on outside of US oversight were absolute disasters where the UN "peacekeepers" committed war crimes and did all kinds of awful things.
And how many times has the US turned a blind eye to charter member states' transgressions simply because said member wouldn't allow a vote?
The recent decades have taught us that the UN model is a complete sham. As you put it, these ideas look great on paper but end up being incredibly naive when implemented.
It's a flawed model because superpowers only respect legit military power and those who will use it.

I love how the UN organizations dont "sponsor" FIFA teams. They have partnered with their youth leagues and out of the goodness of their hearts the teams emblazon logos on their jerseys.
Translation, they get box seats to all the matches while squandering money.
This organization is such a waste of time.
Get rid of US membership and get them the fck out of New York City.

Easy, the Nations who haven’t paid Their dues are kicked stripped of voting rights, committee seats, and military protection until they pay their dues.

I been advocating for kicking the UN out of North America for a long time - make the building into a home for the indigent.
