Yes.
But it is reflective of the stupidity that will soon deluge the board if/when McMahon is officially fired.
May is not leaving Michigan and Odom (though he will get a big raise) is not leaving UVA.
Chris Beard has a base salary of $6M + a $4.5M buyout if he leaves. Even though I like Beard, LSU is not committing $10M+ to make that hire.
Like it or not, Wade will be a target and he will have the best resume of anyone LSU has even a remotely reasonable chance of hiring. Beyond that, the mid-major ranks is likely where LSU's next HC will come from.

But here back in reality that is a waste of 5 calls. The guy doesn't want to come back to coach college basketball. If he did, he would have gone to Kentucky two years ago when they asked....and offered a much bigger bank than LSU would
