I guess it's a good thing we degraded their military capabilities to next to nothing before "the really bad guys" took control, huh?

who knew there were "really bad guys" in a country that had 60% enriched uranium, and a spoken intent to destroy the US and Israel

Control of what?

Certainly not that naval ship a U.S. submarine blew all to hell.

The next one won’t be any different, nor will the one after him.

We can’t kill everyone.

propaganda
economic chaos
a military infrastructure that went from the 16th strongest in the world to the 116 strongest and will take 20 years and a couple trillion to rebuild (if ever)
a defaulted banking system
a hostile population
a blockaded strait that is days away from the need to shut down oil production because there's no where to put more oil
a collapsed relationship with any neighbors
an inability to fund proxies
a more than arms length relationship with China and Russia who have done next to nothing to help so far and will do even less with "the really bad guys" in charge

staing down the gun sights of the largest military super power the world has even known.

little things.....

In simple terms - control of what Iran is doing. It’s not hard, even for you retards.

Good. That means we can sell more of our oil. That also hurts China more than us.

That tends to happen. Wherever we get involved in the Middle East, we replace bad actors with even worse actors. So far this decade alone, we’ve replaced the Assad family in Syria with ISIS, and replaced the Taliban with an even more fundamentalist iteration of the Taliban. Israel had been looking to get rid of Bashar Al-Assad for decades; a weakened Syria makes it easier for them to capture Lebanon.

Fine by me... I hope so... because if this (single motor recreational boats drug runners wouldn't even use) is the best they've got, we should be able to take them out pretty easily.

The really bad guys have the weapons. I don't know how we expected the people to rise up and take control unarmed.

The people can take them out any time they get the balls to start putting a knife in their neighbors that work for the IRGC. Make that a thing and they won't be showing up for work next week. Game over.

Ya, this logic works with Iran
