It was ok.

But I don’t get the hype. I remember when it came out, it was everyone’s favorite movie of all time on here.

I don’t even remember the second movie but I thought the first Deadpool was sig indignantly better than this.

I found this one to be too long and I found myself being easily distracted without knowing often WTF is happening

It was decent. Had way too much shite going on towards the end and Reynolds schtick gets old with me. It's gonna be hard to see someone else play Wolverine

Enjoyment depends a lot on 1) how much fan service and cameos move the needle for you and 2) familiarity enough with both Loki and the X Men to put pieces together from the TVA, the good, alioth, and Cassandra nova

It was good but I think RR should give it some time before doing another DP but I'm sure the money is hard to turn down.

It was nostalgia bait and nothing else. Fight scenes were fun but the story was thin.

I was just thinking the other day, I wonder when athenslife101 is going to let everyone know his thoughts on a Deadpool and Wolverine.

We’ve all been waiting 2 years to know your thoughts here.
It’s about time!!!! Thanks!!!!

The hype was getting these two together on screen again, and seeing them do Deadpool and Wolverine things. Plus, there were some really good cameos. But to be honest, the story itself was pretty trash. If it weren’t for Reynolds and Jackman, it would be just another movie.

Hyperbole much?

It was good and had a lot of callbacks and funny moments, but like others have said, Reynolds is tiresome at this point.

Between this movie and those goddamn Mint mobile commercials, my life would be better if i never heard him speak again.

The problem was, the only way Disney was going to greenlight another DP movie (remember, it was in development when the deal went down) was to tie it into the MCU and that meant the TVA (because it also provided an avenue to "de-Kang" that storyline). A lot of Deadpool fans had never seen Loki and knew nothing of the TVA, plus the weird and unexplained "split" with Vanessa and the abandonment of the main DP characters from the first 2 movies detracted from DP3.

Ah yes, we all agreed that Citizen Kane, The Godfather, and Highlander were all substandard, and Deadpool vs Wolverine was the greatest of all films.

i dont think anyone here was saying it was a masterpiece.

it was a fan service movie. that's it. For us wolverine fan boys, it a more true version of the character finally on screen (a lot more angry and violent).

This alone was worth price of admission. Only took what, 20 years?

Exactly.

It was a fun movie. Not one I'd go out of my way to rewatch.

I'd say it's not as good as Spider-Man: No Way Home; that one didn't treat the past characters like cameos or extended cameos. They all had pretty significant roles to play; that said, it tugged at the same heartstrings.

It'll be interesting to see how many characters from either movie makes it into Doomsday.

No one said that. As others said, it was purely fan service, but Deadpool works better on a team, which is what the next Deadpool movie will adhere to according to Ryan Reynolds.
