Cane's is trash.
Would you eat their nuggets without the sauce? The cold stale fries?
And it's worth billions bc idiots thing it's good and pay $15 for three nuggets and a drink.

I'm ok with this because you can get a grilled salad at Zaxby's, but their tenders aren't as good as Cane's. Kinda limited on what you can get at Cane's. The novelty of Cane's has worn off now that it expanded to our area.

I’ve seen two Zaxbys closed for good in the BR area and it’s only time before the remaining close as well. Cannot compete with the hometown brand.

I’ll take Layne’s over Cane’s. Layne’s tenders don’t taste like white printer paper, though I do agree Zaxby’s is garbage.
Fresh Krispy Krunchy is still my favorite, but fresh is key, as the vast majority of those are inside of gas stations.

Well yeah…but I think the discussion here is fast food chains that expand beyond one city or parish. Because if we’re talking localized fast food joints, then Blue Store and Mama’s Fried Chicken go right to the top of my tenders list. Though to be honest, if I’m going to either of those two, I’m getting bone-in chicken, not tenders.

It's a mixed bag imo. Zaxbys chicken has better seasoning. Their sauce isn't as good though. Zaxbys has better fries, but also crapier Texas toast.

I try to eat fried food only occasionally, and I wish Canes would put at least a dash of seasoning on that bland chicken, but the place seems to be packed with teens and travel ball teams every single time I pass by.
