Does anybody actually know when a decision is supposed to be made with Chambliss eligibility? It was supposed to have been decided two weeks ago but still nothing. Unless there actually was a decision but Ole Miss or whoever is keeping it a huge secret for now and not letting anything out to the public.

All this says is LSU is contacting and jockeying for all the top QBs. Did anyone expect less with the money they promised?

Think the girlfriend at Tech has that one sewn up

Yep girlfriends can’t transfer until they sit for a year. Sorry fellas.

Well, it might be Chambless, but we are not complicating it.
It’s complicated because we still don’t know if he is eligible.
Are we going to go into the second week of January waiting on Chambliss and the NCAA?

I'll drop this without commentary

Every LSU fan should be excited about what the portal will bring. Lane knows how to build an offense. And expect some big splash moves that will lead to LSU fielding a very productive and exciting LSU offense in 2026.

I assume that epa is for the qb runs?
Posted on 12/30/25 at 8:00 am to MOT
I forgot where I had it saved from but I believe :
Epa per play is all plays
QB Run rate is epa per run
Epa per play is all plays
QB Run rate is epa per run

I checked the math for 5 or 6 of them and run rate appears to just be qb runs as a percentage of qb plays, so you’re probably correct with the epa being for all plays.
Which makes it look even worse for those at the bottom.

I thought that too, but if you compare the first 2, Chiles has a better measure despite less QB runs.
Unless the QB runs stat is just designed runs & not scrambles, which is easily separated. However separating the actual yardage may be a little more difficult.

Sean Payton did.
Sean Payton also didn't have unrestricted free agency either. Imagine Carson Palmer tell the Bengals I'm leaving or Donovan McNabb telling the Eagles to piss off; Sean Payton has almost unlimited money and we can throw indoors for at least half the season.

Burrow was considering LSU & Cincinnati. Burrow's girlfriend was at Cincinnati. O still got Joe somehow. Apparently, it can occasionally be defeated.

For Chiles I think the run rate, despite fewer runs, is just a function of being involved in fewer plays. Maybe he was injured?
I wonder if the number of runs reflects total rush attempts, as it shows in their typical stat line, minus the number of times they were sacked. So it would be positive scrambles and designed runs. It seems like that would be an easy formula as opposed to looking at it play by play for everyone.
Regardless, I think being at the top of the list is better than being lower, and some of those names aren’t necessarily the ones being the most talked about. Was that your take away also?

Ah yeah, derp. Need to finish my coffee

Not a ton, just try and align some of these numbers with the eye test. I have long thought Lagway would be a difficult fix and this kind of backs it up. I think he would really have to lean into the run aspect of his game to make the throwing easier. I’d rather not find out.
Sorsby was my top guy but I think Leavitt has some of the same attributes. Obviously working with a limited sample size in 2025. But he is more in that Corral/Dart mold that Kiffin has had success with before.
I haven’t watched enough of the other guys besides Hoover.

What makes you so high on Brown? Just curious, maybe I'm missing something. Seems like he has sloppy footwork and mechanics to me.
He does. It leads to inconsistency and spells of inaccuracy. He’s somewhat like Taylen Green in that the athleticism jumps out of the screen, but he makes a lot of mistakes that make you shake your head.
Also worth noting- he’s been with an offensive-minded coach in Golesh, so these things not being ironed out already should be a concern.

The Cincinnati kid has some good video out there. Wouldn't mind seeing him in Lane's offense.

Cinci was a G5 program at the time, so that part of the equation was pretty out of balance.
Tech may only be in the Big 12 and Lubbock is no paradise, but they have a ton of money and they’re sitting in the playoffs right now. That makes them pretty formidable, girlfriend or not.

Leavitt is from Oregon. I’d have to think they are the leader for him.
