The UW noise is not worth addressing. It’s not gonna be an issue, just a minor inconvenience.

OK now post only his stats against non-ranked teams for the comparison.
Washington as a whole was up and down this year. Dealt with a lot of injuries (including the o line) and had a couple stinkers. But if you watched them play , it is obvious that dude is GOOD.

Landen Clark at Elon is one. I'm sure there are others. NO QB out there is going to make LSU a potential contender alone. Even Chambliss at Ole Miss doesn't do that. LSU had more problems than just a non-100% Nussmeier on the field. The OL was abyssmal and too many times the RB ran into the pile of players instead of cutting to where there was less traffic.
And on defense, LSU had no quality pass rush with only 4 rushing AND related to that, LSU gave up far too many 3rd and longs. Blake Baker reminded me somewhat of 3rd and Chevis...great on 1st and 2nd downs but not so great on 3rd downs.

To your point, as i listened late last night on X, the Washington talking heads were and are disappointed in him for his offensive performance against good competition. Sited that he is too short and lacks vision. Im a little concerned that he may not be the best option.
