Nah. I've seen to many other SEC fan bases shite on us at other events (CWS, NCAAT) over the years. frick em.

I will root for them to do just well enough to maintain the conference’s strong reputation, which helps with recruiting, but not so well that they become a powerhouse that’s difficult to defeat on and off the field. I’ll root for Tennessee all the way, but Georgia needs to get knocked down and Texas needs to be stopped before they become a bigger menace than they already are.
The problem is that it’s hard to root for teams from other conferences either. I don’t want the Big 10 to start challenging the SEC for supremacy, but I also don’t want ACC or Big 12 teams to do so well that they take the marginal playoff spots away from the SEC in the future (which could come at LSU’s expense). I want SMU to flame out badly.

Pulling for Texas vs Clemson, so Clemson can go into the offseason losing momentum.
PSU over SMU so they don't have momentum in recruiting.
Indiana over ND so they regret losing CBK.
Then UTe over OSU and UTw to hurt UTw recruiting.
Boise to win it all.

I did, but with the college play offs...well, now everyone is in the way. It is like the NFL. Do you root for NFC South or West or NFC? Nope, its either your team or no team.

I used to pull for SEC teams against all others but I don’t anymore.
I guess I used to take a little pride in being an SEC fan but the Alabama favoritism and other corruption, the greed,etc. have knocked it out of me.
I am hoping Arizona State, Indiana, or SMU win, in that order.

Never. I am an LSU fan, not an SEC fan. A UGA, Texas, or Tenn win just puts another trophy in THEIR case, is a recruiting selling point for THEM and just brings THEM in more money.
