Why does this keep getting regurgitated? All coaches place a high priority on experience and consistency, but literally BKs first year he was starting true freshmen on the Oline. The best players will play and there is no reason to think if a player gives us a better chance to win than another he won't be the starter.

So when do you take over for CBK? You obviously think you know more about the players, and can read stats too.

Why would anyone freak out about you saying Keys should start over West?

Probably all of the extra shite in his post.

At any rate, I expect to see Keys on the field a lot even if he doesn't start. Wouldn't surprise me if he got more reps than West even if West starts.

Unless West starts, is out there stinking it up and staying in, this feels like a non-issue.

You are a loon. Across multiple boards.

The way you ramble makes me think you really need help.

This is the problem with our world today: opinion is regarded as "truth", regardless of what the facts are

Why the hell are we paying any coaches whenever we have you that just knows everything without even seeing practice?

So selective use of stats are the most important metric…unless you don’t like what stats are telling you.

Your post reeks of narcissism, especially that last quote. You are so right that the most telling indicator is the overwhelming number of people who disagree with you?

Maybe it’s time to be open minded about being a narcissist when you hear people who know you in real life confront you about that.

Gotta love when people use words like "truth" to describe opinions that are based on outdated and incomplete information.

I agree with you. It seems BK puts a much bigger emphasis on experience over talent than previous LSU coaches. From what I remember the best players played, even if that meant true freshman. I like BK, obviously I want things to go well for us, but just some examples Josh Williams (who i loved) was the experienced player and many believed Caden Durham was the more talented. Josh Williams got more touches and could have been due to his pass protection and reliability, however this is just one example of what looks like a more talented player not seeing the field as often... I say that because im not sure that would have happened in the past under previous coaches at LSU. Keep in mind i could be completely wrong. Just seems BK leans heavy on experience and I don't think LSU has been built like that. Another example could be said for our safeties sage and burns last year, it was probably safer to go with them over spears, but spears should be more talented than Burns and Sage. And your example with linebackers, yes I agree West is not the most talented and if he starts it would be due to experience. Back in my day(ha ha), if you were still at LSU as a senior its because you weren't talented enough to go pro and that you needed to be pasted up on the depth chart, but its a different LSU now a days ha ha cheers cheers ??

______

Chill. I didn't dv you, but think you received so many because you are coming off as if you know more than the coaches. You aren't an expert. None of us are compared to the coaching staff that spends 18 hours per day on this stuff.

New coach same rant. Every coach we’ve had people have claimed the HC is making these calls to start experience over talent. Every single one.

Do you have proof that Kelly making calls on who starts, especially on defense as he’s really an offensive guy to back your claims?

Was there an article or interview we missed?

Baker is his DC he trusts and Baker also coaches linebackers. Sure Kelly might have some input but he doesn’t come off as a micromanager, if anything he comes off too much of a CEO type at times.

Ah, yes, and 83.7% of statistics on the internet are made up on the spot.

I'll give you this: you are an ace at hyperbole.

I tell the truth.

One of the problems we have in our society today if people confuse their opinions with the truth.

And Spears will see gametime whether he starts or not. You are correct about him being the better athlete out of him and West, but one of the biggest issues I saw with the linebackers last season was situational awareness. You know what helps that a lot, experience.
