Chambliss will be the best QB out of that class.

It will all depend on his pro day. But if I had to bet drafted or not drafted, I would absolutely bet drafted.

They know his senior year was the result of an injury, weak OL, no running game, and average receivers;

When Nuss still gets drafted in the first few rounds, are the mocks still going to be retarded?

It only takes one team for that to come true. 95% of the NFL could think he’s bad and your scenario could still play out. if he goes undrafted, or doesn’t make a roster, then the naysayers were correct, regardless of where he gets drafted.

Better improve his preparation and how he takes care of his body.

Yeah let's just ignore his Junior year footage when he led the SEC in passing

He had a knee injury that required cleaning in fall camp but didn’t clean it up. He had a torso injury that should have shut him down for 6 games or so. He had a terrible Oline and zero run game, which is critical for a play action QB. He was given a Zone Read offense, which he won’t have in the NFL. Oh and his coaches sucked arse. Far cry from a kid who led the nation in passing yards in 2024 behind a good pass protection OLine but couldn’t run block to save their life. Losing Josh Williams hurt more than people know.
He will be picked before the end of the 3rd round.

It never ceases to amaze me how many internet QB evaluators there are that never played the game. Stats are the only thing they understand. There's so much more into it than what stats reveal.

I mean, he has the arm, but I just don't see the intangibles to be an NFL QB . Backpedals in the pocket, throws off his back foot, makes the same mistakes over and over with throwing balls into heavy traffic when there is no need to, refuses to step up in the pocket and refuses to run with the ball. He did look a lot better in 2024, but even then he led the conference in interceptions and had some really bad games. And LSU had a disappointing season. This year was worse and he had all the experience you could ask for. Our offense was completely broken, but it took a group effort for that to happen.

Maybe being around better, more demanding coaches would help him have a chance to make it, but I don't know. I certainly don't see why anyone would be pretty high on him as a prospect. Stranger things have happened though at times in the draft. Also, this is the worst QB draft class I have ever seen. That gives him a chance.

I know he offered him when he was at OM. Little Nuss is a much better fit for Lane’s system than Nuss. Way more athletic and mobile.

He’s got everything they want in the NFL except mobility but if he gets healthy he’ll be better than he was this year there too. He needs a veteran o line to be good. He’ll be a great backup QB for 10 years and have a year or 2 as a starter due to injury. His upside is a Baker Mayfield type guy or Matt Flynn type. We had terrible o line, terrible receivers and terrible offensive scheme and play calling. I’m not sure Tom Brady could have done well for us.

Nuss could be very good in the right system. A lot of what we saw this last season was due to injury, and a subpar OLine. People are forgetting what he looked like his Jr. year with Mason Taylor and Karen Lacy to throw to. I do think it would benefit him to find someone to work on using his legs more often. I think we was running a 4.6 40. That could help him great
Y at the next level.

More proof on how hurt he actually was this year.
One thing you can guarantee about Nuss is that if he isn't thowing
downfield on a regular basis, he's got to be hurt. Until this year, he
threw the ball deep on a regular basis, no way he just stopped.

You’re just one of the typical fans that throw the QB under the bus when literally anything goes wrong and don't really know football well. No big deal. Well over half of fans are like this. Two players have had 4,000 yard passing seasons in LSU history... Joe Burrow and Nuss. And people think he won't get drafted because he was stuck in a horrible offensive situation in 2025? Think.

He's absolutely worth a 4th-6th round pick as a Matt Flynn kind of guy. I could easily see a team reaching into the third for him on a gamble.
