Not being negative or trolling. It will likely be a hard year. He will really be priming the pump for ‘27 and beyond. The honeymoon won’t last long. Hope CLK has a thick skin.

This isn’t Lane’s first rodeo. He’ll be fine and who knows, maybe we’ll surprise some people if this new staff can get the most out of this team. No one thought we’d win the west in 2022 either.

Why is it going to be a hard year? Because we have a lot of guys “in the portal” after we publicly announced a gigantic NIL budget and they’re trying to up their own NIL deals? Because Lane hasn’t signed 87 people in 4 days? We’re going to resign anyone that we absolutely need (see Berry, Pickett, etc) and Lane will do fine otherwise in time. Get it together little buddy

We just went 7-6 with worst offense in sec. If defense can be similar, and offense be mid tier, 8-4 (9-3), or 9-3- would be considered hell of a year 1 with like 45 roster turnover spots, and entire new offense.
Progress is all we should care about, end goal and sustain around that high level year 3-4 and go forward.

Any LSu “fan” that gets upset if we aren’t in the playoffs next year is an idiot. Can it happen? Maybe. It if we end up with Leavitt who won’t be able to start working with receivers until summer it could take a while for that chemistry to click. This isn’t about next year but the next 5 years.

Everyone wants cfp 2026 including kiffin.
I think this is reasonable: floor is 8 wins for 2026 with the portal and Baker returning.
2027 we better be on the doorstep or in cfp with 2 losses max
2028 we have to be in cfp minimum and great shot at NC

Kelly dug his own grave. He exposed himself over time and did things that demonstrated he was a bad coach. We have the best coach right now. I hope that fans rally during the tough times ahead. I plan to.
